I plodded into the Force India suite feeling like I needed match sticks to hold up my eye lids. I was exhausted. I didn't sleep at all last night. I spent all night tossing and turning, I couldn't get that tweet from Nico out of my head. I was trying to convince myself that it was nothing, but something would start me wondering if it was more than something. My brain hurt.

..........

I started to head to a free table, but the calling of my name distracted me, seeing Nico's friends hanging out. I smiled and headed over.

"hey guys" I beamed at them. "are you looking for Nico?" one of them asked, I shook my head, "actually I came to grab some water before I went to find a spot to watch qualy." I Answered, seeing them nod. "well come sit for a little while. You can come with us and watch it" another one of them said. I couldn't say no to that.

...........

We hung around in the hospitality suite for an hour before heading out into the paddock. Kristoff, the only ones name I seemed to remember, whistled, causing me to look up in his direction.

Nico was walking through to head to the garage. Seeing his friends he grinned. They began talking and laughing in German, so I couldn't follow, but then I heard my name. I'd not taken my eyes off the driver as he flicked his gaze on to me.

I watched him move passed his friends to me stating at the back of the group. "Hi" I grinned at him, seeing him all suited up. "hello" he replied smiling back at me. "you ready?" I asked, looking up at him. I could never get used to how tall he was compared to me. "yes, the car feels better than ever, I'm ready to go." he replied, "and I've got to see my good luck charm" he smiled down at me, causing my face to colour up. I giggled at him and got onto my tip toes, flinging my arms around his neck.

He reciprocated my actions, sliding his hands over my waist, pulling me tight into him. We both let out a sigh of contentment. "good luck" I whispered into his neck as I couldn't help but breathe in his scent. "thank you." he whispered back, sliding his hands up my back. "you look beautiful by the way" he added, my heart racing even more. I was only in a pair of ripped denim shorts and a purple vest, but I knew he meant it. "thank you" I smiled, pulling back a little to look at his face. My knees were weak as I was held in his arms, only inches from his handsome face. I could kiss him right now, in the middle of this paddock, and I wouldn't care who was watching. So I did.

.......

I pulled him closer by my arms that hung round his neck. His grip on me instantly got tighter. I looked up briefly from his lips to his pale blue eyes, making sure he was okay with this, but before I had time to process the emotion in his face, he pulled me even tighter to him, gently placing his lips against my own.

Jesus it felt good to have him kissing me again. I sighed as our lips connected, that feeling of this is where I belong came flooding back. My hands moved from his neck, up into his perfectly styled hair. I tugged on it a little, feeling Nico smile against my lips.

In that moment we both pulled away, but kept only a small distance between our faces, as he still held me tight against him. "be careful okay" I told him, amused at the silly grin he was giving me. He nodded. "promise." he replied. We heard a cough come from the side of us, seeing Mathew, Nico's trainer grinning at us, yet tapping his watch.

"I have to-" I nodded at him, feeling disappointed when he released me from his vice like grip. "good luck" I said softly, watching him give me a wink and licked his lips. I blushed at his action and giggled, then watching him turn and walk away with Mathew to his garage.

I sighed, turning to see all of Nico's friends stood grinning at me. "what?!" I smirked at them, then taking the lead and walking down the paddock, hearing chuckles from behind as they followed.
