Promise?

"hey! You made it!" I giggled, stopping to give Kimi and Minttu a hug. "I said I would" he replied, squeezing me. "he fell asleep though" Minttu added with an eye roll. I burst into uncontrollable laughter. Kimi simply stood smirking, "so you thoroughly enjoyed it then" I asked him. "mwoah, it was okay. It was a good thing they had beer" he added, I snorted at his comment, "you coming over to hang out with us all later?" I asked, turning to Minttu, "I think us girls are going to hang out in the pool" I told her, immediately she nodded, "sure. Come and get me when you're heading out" she nodded. "great" I smiled, giving her one last hug, "see you around Raikkonen" I turned to give Kimi a smirk, "as always" he saluted me with his beer bottle and then I headed off.

"Ahh! Here she is!" I heard as I made my way through the crowds, spotting the guys standing in a circle, Jasper waving at me. "hey" I smiled as I greeted them all. "we got you a drink" Paul said, leaning forward with the glass in his hand, "oh thanks"
"and well done" he said as I took it from him. "thank you" I smiled at him. "not easy going up there is it" he said to which I shook my head. "you chickened out of it last year" Laura laughed, "I'm not cut out for that modelling stuff" he shook his head, Laura rolled her eyes at me. "you did though didn't ya" he added, nodding over across from him. I followed his gaze and saw he was directing that at Nico. He smiled and his cheeks filled with a dusty pink. "yes, I enjoyed it actually" he nodded, "I can't have done a good job as they didn't ask me this year" he chuckled, making us all laugh. "yeah you'd have looked good in swimsuit bottoms and heels" Paul laughed.

"I didn't know you'd modelled in the show last year?" I beamed, looking up at Nico. "yes, at the Amber Lounge, figured it would be fun" he shrugged. "but enough about me" he said, stepping that tiny bit closer to me. We were standing by the edge of the roof top area, looking out to the ocean. "you look indescribable in that dress" he whispered, bringing his forehead softly against mine. "thank you" I giggled in shyness. He smiled, bringing his hands to my waist as he always did, and lifted his head to press a kiss to my forehead.

"can I ask you something?" he said, seeing a glimmer of nervousness in his blue eyes. I frowned but nodded, wondering what he would need to ask me.

"what do you think will happen to us now you're going home?" he asked, looking down into my eyes. I looked back at him, that nervousness evermore present. "um well, I..." I stumbled over the right words to use, knowing this was going to come up at some point soon, seeing as I was leaving Thursday. "I can't bear to lose you, not again" he interrupted my ramblings, stroking his thumb across my cheek. "you won't lose me" I smiled up at him. "we'll figure it out" I said, receiving another kiss from him, "promise?" he whispered, "promise" I smiled against his lips.

"Vick, we're heading out now" a voice interrupted us, we both looked over to see Jessie giving us a cheesy smile. I grinned and nodded. "be right there" I replied, then turning back to Nico, "I promised the girls we'd all go and have a swim in the pool" I told him, instantly feeling bad that I had to leave him right now.
"cool, sounds good. Go enjoy yourself" he nodded, smiling at me, still not leaving go of my waist. "but it's not that bikini from earlier today you're wearing is it?" he asked, widening his eyes at me. I giggled, "no, we're skinny dipping" I laughed, hearing Nico chuckle, quickly pulling me against his body, "that I'd have to see" he laughed, making me squeal as he kissed my neck. "maybe later!" I laughed, trying to pull away from him "I gotta go!" I giggled, wriggling from his grasp, Nico sighed and reluctantly let me go, "I'll see you later" I smiled at him, gently placing my hands either side of his handsome face, placing one last kiss on his soft pink lips.

Then I headed out to join the girls, but something was telling me my night with Nico wasnt over yet.
