(I'm sorry it's short, but I have no will to try to rewrite everything).

"Hey Nat!" The voice of your best friend, Calum shouts out to you as he spots you walking down the hallway. "I've been worried sick about you! You didn't answer any of my texts, even the one asking if we're still on for Friendship Friday!" Right at those words your heart literally sinks into your stomach.

"Listen Cal about th-"

"I was thinking we could watch The Boy in the Stripped Pajamas, but then again it looks really depressing... what do you think?" He asks, stopping to face you.

"Listen, Cal I can't do Friendship Friday tonight." You say, immediately regretting it due to the look he gives you.

"Why not!?" He asks, obviously hurt.

"I'm going out with that Ashton kid from AP." You say, trying to make eye contact with Calum, but failing when he refuses to look at you. "But I promise you, we will be able to do movie night next Friday!" You say sincerely. "We can even watch that Stripy boy movie!"

"You sure?" He asks skeptically.

"Positive."

(One week later)

"NATALIE!" The overly enthusiastic voice of the one and only Calum Hood shouts at you over the phone.

"CALUM!" You shout back, giggling. "What's up?"

"No, I think the question is; where are you?" Calum asks, causing you to furrow your eyebrows in confusion. Where were you? Why would he ne-

"Oh, shit! Calum I forgot!" You cry out.

"It fine Nat! You could just head over now!" He says, chuckling at your frustration.

"No, Calum you don't understand! I completely forgot about it, and made plans with Ashton!" You say, running a hand through your hair. And then, almost like switch was flicked on in Calum's head, he snaps.

"Oh, of course you did!"

"Pardon?"

"All week you've ignored me to hang out with your 'precious' Ashton!" He angrily states. "I thought we were best friends!?"

"We are Cal! What's your problem!?" You shout back through the phone.

"My problem? Do you really want to know my problem Natalie? My problem's the fact I fucking love you! That's my problem, and you spending all your time with someone else makes my problem a whole lot worse!" Calum fiercely states.

"Y-you what?" You ask, eyes wide in shock.

"I said I love you Nat."

"Why didn't you tell me!" You ask, well more so shout.

"Because I was scared I'd lose our friendship Natalie. I was scared you wouldn't want me back." He wearily says, and then after a long silence between you two, you finally speak up.

"Well, I think you don't need to be scared anymore."

"Why?" He asks, clearly confused.

"Because, I think I love you too."
