"For the hundredth time Lily, no." Luke says sternly, watching you huff in frustration.

"But I'm already failing the class! Don't you want to help your best friend out!" You ask, trying to pull out your best puppy dog eyes.

"Letting you copy of my homework isn't helping you learn anything!"

"Yes it is!" You declare, throwing your hands up.

"Oh, really?" Luke says, raising his eyebrows. "What's it teaching you then."

"It's teaching me the fact that I have an amazing best friend, who would do anything to help me even if it's the smallest task!" You say dramatically, whilst wrapping your arms around Luke's shoulders.

"Dear lord." Luke huffs, banging his head on his locker before pulling away to look at you. "Just this one time?"

"Yup!" You say, looking at him hopefully.

"Fine.." He groans, reopening his locker to retrieve his maths homework for you.

"Thanks!" You squeal as he hand it to you, pulling him into a hug.

"Yeah, yeah just be lucky I love you." You hear Luke, probably thinking you couldn't hear, mumble into your shoulder.

"What?" You ask now shocked, pulling away.

"I-i didn't say anything Lilz." He stutters, obviously lying.

"Luke, I heard you." You say, trying to hide back your grin.

"You did." He says mortified. "I-i didn't really mean it that way, w-well I did but I just, I me-"

"Oh, just shut up and kiss me!" You say, ceasing his rambling by grabbing his face and pulling his lips to yours.
