Marcella Michelle Stones. (Mitchie's mum.)

"Jade said a lot of stuff that wasn't true. She was hurt and..." I stuttered
This confrontation was killing me.

"Are you in love with me Mitchie?" he asked again.
How was i supposed to answer the question he so blatantly threw at my face. One thing was sure, i couldn't lie to him and he wasn't leaving without an answer.

"I...I..."

"Sorry i'm late Mitchie, something came up and..." Ayla said as she burst into my room. But she stopped right on her tracks when she saw the two of us and how uncomfortably close Shane was standing to me.
"Oops... You know what carry on, I'll be downstairs." she started to leave the room, her cheeks brightened in embarrassment and i couldn't thank her enough for her perfect timing.

"That'll be nice." Shane scowled.

"Of course not." I glared at Shane before turning to Ayla. "Shane was just leaving." I gaze right into his eye, daring him to challenge what i said.

He didn't. He just scowled at me and mumbled something inaudible before heading out of the room.

I released the breath i was holding and forced my heart to beat normally again.
Ayla walked in. "You could literally hit me for my wrong timing." Ayla said, plopping onto my bed.

"More like perfect timing. I don't know what i'll have done if you hadn't walked in on us." I said, running my hand through my face.

"You're being sarcastic right?" She asked looking confused.

"No i'm not. Jade put me in a very compromising position with Shane."

She looked even more confused now. "How is that even possible?"

I briefly explained to her everything that happened since i left college.

"Shit!" she cursed when i was done.

"Yeah. I'd have probably passed out if you hadn't walked in. I felt so intoxicated." i sighed, finally joining her on my bed.

"And here i thought i was interrupting a hot make out session that was about to happen." she scowled.

I smiled. "You thought wrong."

"He's 'bout to find out about your feelings sooner or later you know." She added seriously.

"I know, i'm just not ready yet. I don't know how he feels about me. I'd go crazy if i tell him and he doesn't feel the same way." I said honestly. "I hid it from him for so long." Three years to be precise, since the beginning if college.

"Not well enough if Jade knows." She said as-a-matter-of-factly.

I groaned loudly. "Jade's going to kill me."

"Hey, I've gotcha back." She said.

"Thanks." I smiled.

"Now for the business at hand." she said merrily. She got out her laptop from her bag. "I found out through a bartender downtown that the name of the fitness studio is Bounce, and I can learn more about it on this website."
She put it on and within seconds she was google, browsing the website.
I sat at the edge of the bed and peered into the laptop.
A full picture of the studio and a Welcome to Bounce draped the screen. As we scrolled down, they talked about all the facilities they had
and many other things that didn't interest either of us.

My throat clogged when I saw a good picture of her. She had on a smile I so vaguely remembered. Her hair was darker than I remembered, but that smile.
