"How's your final gown coming up Mitchie." Ariel asked me as we walked out of design class together. It was the last class we had before graduation, and it had been bittersweet. Mrs Davon told us stories, we talked, laugh played, she shared contacts for everyone in case we needed to find a job. I was surprised to see she had tears in her eyes. The three years I'd spent in her class had been really amazing.

"I haven't really started yet." I said, working part time at Bella really took much of my time.

"Guess I'm not the only one. Hey are you coming for the party?" She followed me to my locker. I was packing everything out today, as I reached the locker I sighed. It had been my locker for three years, the thought that someone was going to take over it next semester made me sad. It made me wonder who the freshman would be.

"What party?" I asked trying to keep up with the conversation. I put all my books into a box.

"The pre-grads party that Marble and Drake our hosting. Don't tell me you haven't heard of it."

I shook my head in answer to her question.
"You've gotta come. Invitations were dropped in everyone's locker."

And as I took out my sketchpad, an envelope fell off from it.

"There you go." She smiled triumphantly. "There's your own invite. You've gotta come Mitchie, everyone would be there. It's gonna be the party of the year."

I looked at the invite on the floor and sighed. Maybe that's what I needed, to party a little bit and get my mind off everything.

"I'll think about it." I said, emptying the remaining contents of my locker into the box.

"Fair enough." She shrugged. "I heard you and Ayla are in cold waters with each other."

She just didn't know when to stop.

"And who told you that?" I said glancing at her coldly. With the evil stare I was giving her she shrunk into herself and wished she never spoke.

"Everyone's talking about it. They're even saying it's cause you stole Kyle from her. Kyle doesn't seem to deny any of it."

I wanted to explode. "You mean he knows about the rumors? And he's keeping quiet?"

She shrugged. I could sense that she was frightened by my tone.

"Well just so you know, nothing is going on between Kyle and I. He's the reason Ayla and I are not talking to each other, alright, but that's because he's a dick. So when next you decide to run your mouth and pass on rumors, be sure to add that." I slammed the locker shut and brushed passed her.

"Mitch what's this I hear?" Ellen asked.
I was on a cab taking me home when she called. Apparently she hadn't heard about what happened. She had gone home after that call.

"What did you hear?" I sighed. I wondered why I even asked.

"You kissed Kyle? Why the fuck did you do that? You barely even like the guy." She sounded suprised.

I could feel my anger rising again. "Yes! I hate the skunkbag is precisely the reason why I can't believe you think I'd kiss him. I mean what's wrong with all of you?" I yelled.

"Tone it down Mitch, I didn't say you did. I just wanted it to be clear to me."

"Are you for real? You wanted it to be clear to you when you know fully well that I'd be incapable of having anything with that brainless peacock, much less of hurting Ayla. I can't believe you right now."
