*Mitchie, on New Year's Eve*
It was new year's eve and I was moping around. "You need to snap outta this mood Mitchie, It's new year's eve." Ayla said, sitting on the bed beside me.
"I know, but i just can't believe they got back together. He swore to me that he was done this time."
"You know Jade; She's like a spider, she'll stop at nothing to make sure he stays in her web and he lets her."
"It's just not fair." I whisper, feeling my eyes water at the memory.
They had broken up before christmas and everything was fine, until he met up with her on Boxing day.
Turns out that he took her to some resturant, they settled out their differences and then they went out for a walk. As they were walking it started to snow and they kissed under the snow.
I unfortunately hàd to hear all about it when Shane brought her home to have dinner with us.
"Tonight you're forgeting all Shane okay?" Anji said, pulling me out of bed.
"But..."
"No buts. Tonight we're going to Bertha's party and we're going to have fun. Luckily for you, Leo's gonna be there so you don't have to worry about who to kiss at midnight, unlike us." Anji said, reffering to herself, Bells and Ayla.
Julian had broken it off with Ayla. It had hurt and she cried because she liked him a lot but she already convinced us that had gotten over it, while Bells and Nate just called a quits.
"Fine." I sighed. "But i don't have anything to wear."
"Of course you do. You are a bloody designer Mitchie."
" I design just wedding gowns. Unless you want me showing up at the party wearing one."
"How about this?" Ellen asked pulling out a grey mini gown.
"No no no." I groaned, looking away from it.
"C'mon Mitchie, you're going to have every guy at your feet wearing this"
"I don't want evey guy; I just want one i can't have."
"Well you have Leo, and he's a very nice guy; If you're not gonna dress up for all the guys, do it for Leo. He deserves to see you looking gorgeous don't you think?" Ellen winked and smiled.
I rolled my eyes and smiled. "Alright fine."
The party started at eight but not wanting to be the first there we showed up at nine thirty. My dress fit me like a glove and i teamed it with Bells' chunky black heels and a small clutch bag. The studs Daina have me for Christmas and a small silver ring were the only jewellery I had on.
My hair was lightly curled and gel around my shoulders. I felt confident about my appearance.
Ayla had on a gorgeous electric blue dress that flowed to the floor at the back but was around the knee d the front. Ellen went for the classic LBD with bold red statement jewellery and heels, Anji, a turtle neck gold cocktail gown with six inches tall alligator heels while Bells was in a stunning off shoulder dress. We all looked great and they were on prowl tonight. Well Bells, Anji and Ayla; they wanted a midnight kiss.
Bells parked her car on the street as their driveway was packed. We could hear the music pounding away.
The door opened as we reached it quickly dodging two guys fighting and falling onto the front lawn. Ignoring the two drunken lads, we headed inside walking straight to the kitchen for drinks.
They had everything from juice to cocktail to wine to vodka.
We started earlier on cocktails so we were sticking to vodka. I was careful how many shots i took. I didn't want to end up too drunk.
"Let's get our dance on girls" Anji screamed, dragging Ayla and Ellen to the make-shift dancefloor as Bells and I followed.
We danced for a while until i decided i wanted another drink. I was about going to the kitchen when i saw something that caught my attention.
