*Mitchie's project.*

"Can't believe It's all over and we have to go back to college tomorrow." Ayla whined as she straightened the bodice of the wedding gown I was sewing.

"Yeah me neither. But unlike you I'm not whining or grumbling about it. Hold still." I said. Pinning down the lower skirt to the ruffles in front.

"Instead of complaining. You should be grateful I offered to do this. I could've stayed home watching the butcher you know."

"Yeah. What would I do without you." I smiled.

I was kind of in a rush. I had totally forgotten about my project until yesterday and I really needed a real life model to do the fitting. The other girls had prior appointments. Ayla was the only one I could convince to help me with this.

"There!" I said proudly, with a pin in between my lips.
"It's done. You can take a look at the mirror now."
Gracefully, she stepped down the platform and walked towards the mirror. I smiled at her expression when she saw the dress.

"It's... it's so... pretty" she gasped. "I feel like a fairytale princess in it."

"Really? Because you do look like a fairytale princess right now. Although i think i'll still need to make a few adjustments." i said looking at it from a designer's eye.

"Hey how's that job application of yours coming along, you working there yet?"

"Not yet. I just submitted my application letter, i'm still expecting a call from them. I hope i get the job though."

"Of coure you will, they'll be crazy not to hire you. You are the best bridal gown designer i know."

"Aren't I the only bridal gown designer you know?" I cocked an eyebrow at her and she waved me off.
"You know what i mean."

"I hope i get the job too, it'll do me alot of good if i live in my own apartment with the money i earn, seeing that we are graduating this year. If possible i'd like to by myself a car." I smiled.

"It's our last year in college Mitchie, i can't believe it, feels like yesterday we had prom." she said with faraway eyes.

"I know." I sighed. "Time flies, huh?"

"Yeah. And how about Leo, the guy seemed to have fallen from the face of the earth."

"I don't know, he's not answering my calls and emails, it's like he's totally ignoring me."

"Maybe something came up, besides you'll be seeing him tomorow so don't fret about it."

"I've decided to take our relationship to the next level..." i inhaled deeply. "I want to loose my v-card to him."

Ayla gasped. "You haven't lost it yet?" she asked, quite shocked. "What about that guy during prom, i thou
ght you lost it to him."

I shook my head. Most people lost theirs during prom, including all my friends. I was the only one left among the five of us.

"No kidding, and you just had to wait this long to tell me."

"I thought you knew."

"I certainlt did not. You want to loose it to Leo?"
I nodded. "He suggested doing it once, but i turned him down. I wanted my first time to be with someone i truly loved, but i guess that's never going to happen, so i thought, it would be nice to lose it to Leo, he's been so sweet and loving to me. It's the next best thing."

"So it's like a new year's revolution, not to wait any longer."

I shrugged. "I guess... that and finding my mother."
I had told the girls about my mum and the christmas gift she got me, they all agreed to help me in finding her.

"Don't worry Mitchie, everything's gonna fall into place in no time you'll see." she smiled.

"I hope so."
