Toxic Love

Different paths

Me and the girls decided we were going to cook today. It's not something we usually do but we were all craving some normalcy, even if it wasn't normal for us. We hadn't decided what we would cook yet, just that we would. It would be a belated welcome home meal, after all Jax only got home yesterday.

Us girls had gone upstairs to get dressed, we needed to go shopping. There was no food in the house we usually ate takeaways or rubbish. I was really looking forward to getting out of the house. Don't get me wrong I loved having Jax home, it felt as though he came as part of a team now though. Wherever Jax was so was Cam.

I'd just had a shower and dried myself off, deciding to chuck on a tracksuit for now, my clean clothes options were at an all time low. I scrapped my hair back in a high ponytail but didn't bother with any make up, I checked my reflection before cleaning my teeth and heading out of my bedroom.

I stoped outside the guest room and knocked, T and Kim were in there dressed and pretty much ready.

"You 2 set?" I asked them.

"Yeah chick" T replies and Kim nods.

We head towards Levi's room, although officially now it was Jess and Levi's room. Jess was in the same boat as me now, her parents had had enough and threw her out. Levi immediately asked her to move in, she was practically living here anyway. T knocks on Levi's door.

"Come in" Jess yells out.

We all walk in and see Jess is ready too. She smiles brightly at us all "let's go" she says.

We all walk downstairs together and head into the living room. Empty, as is the kitchen so we head outside. The guys are all in the outhouse, Jax and Cam are working out and the others are playing pool or FIFA on the Xbox.

Us girls separate, each heading over to our significant other. I stop in front of Jax who's currently doing pull ups on a bar that's hanging. I can't take my eyes off of him. The look of concentration on his eyes and the way his muscles move to enable him to lift his body weight over the bar, its mesmerising. Catching me gawking he drops down and walks his sweaty body towards me grinning. I smile back at him.

"Hey baby, like what you see?" He asks stopping just in front of me.

"Hmmmmm" I reply "I've seen better".

Jax growls and stalks towards me, I back up quickly but he's closing in on me with a mischievous look on his face. I turn quickly trying to flee him, laughing when he groans at me. I run to the other side of the room but he's on me and before I know it I'm tossed over his shoulder and he's slapping my bum.

"Eewwww Jax put me down, your sweaty and you stink" I squeal kicking my legs.

"Awwwwww baby you weren't saying that last night" he says laughing.

I smack his chest as he puts me down. I join in with his laughing, enjoying the carefree sound he's making. He pulls me in his arms and tickles me. I don't care it's so good to have him home.

"What's all the noise about?" Cam asks walking over.

Jax releases me from his sweaty grasp "Just teaching my girl a little lesson" Jax says to Cam grinning.

"Well it's about time son" Cam exclaims.

"Cam..." Jax warns. Cam puts his hands up in a joking manor.

"Anyway Jax, me and the girls are going to the shops" I say interrupting Jax and Cams banter.

"Ok babe. Who's going with you?" Jax replies.
