Back on track

I woke up to Jax pacing. Up and down the side of his room. Completely oblivious to me being awake. Having some sort of internal battle with himself.

"Hey badass, your gonna wear holes in the carpet" I say to Jax. Shocking him slightly.

"Em your awake. Sorry... did I wake you?" He asks bending down to lean over and kiss my lips.

"Yeah but it's ok Jax. All I seem to do is sleep at the moment" I state. "Jax are you ok?" I ask concerned.

"Er yeah... Actually no. I'm late to get my methadone. I was ment to be there at 11 but we was sorting things out" Jax says guiltily.

"Jax" I shout "this is important. You should of told me. Go".

"You sure Em? I won't be long" he tells me.

"Yes Jax go" I tell him.

Jax leans over again and gives me a big kiss. "I'll be 30 mins tops, don't go anywhere" he says laughing. With that he's out the door.

Well that happened quickly. What now. I decide to get up and go see what the others are up too. I can't remember the last time I ate and just hung out with them all, I missed them.

   Sitting myself up, I realise I'm in a state of undress. My bra is on but it's undone and there's no way I can do that backup so I decide to remove it, this takes a lot of manoeuvring. When I've sorted that, I shove the duvet back on the bed. That's as good as it's gonna get making it wise though.

    Standing up, I pull my dress down, I've still got my cardigan on. I check my reflection and although I'm lacking in the bra department, I'm covered up. Now to find my thong. After checking everywhere I give up and gab a pair of Jax's boxers and pull them on. Perfect.

    Getting down the stairs is tricky. Without supporting myself with my arms I decide the best way is to bump down on my bum. Thank god I put Jax's boxers on or this could be very awkward. I start my unflattering descent and cringe at the loud noise I make bumping down. Suddenly there's a commotion at the bottom of the stairs and I look up from midway to see Levi, Nate and Chris laughing at me.

     Levi comes up beside me and scopes me up still laughing. "Em you should of shouted. One of us would of carried you down" Levi chuckles.

    "Thanks Levs, your my hero. Just don't tell Jax" I say sheepishly.

     "Speaking of which, was that you bumping down the stairs earlier or have you and Jax finally made up?" Nate asks sarcastically.

    I blush. "Nate do you want me to smack you round the head with this cast" I ask shaking my right arm at him.

    "Yeah I think I'll pass Em" Nate says laughing.

    Levi deposits me on the cuddle chair and Chris dumps the throw over my legs.

    "Thanks guys. I've missed you. What's been happening? Where are the girls?" I ask noticing that the house appeared empty apart from the three of them.

      "The girls went with Jax, he hasn't been leaving the house without an escort. They said they needed to get some shopping" Nate explains.

     I nod in understanding. "So any gossip? How is everyone?" I ask no one in particular.

    "Things are ok Em, were managing with Jax taking a step back. We all decided that if you could forgive him then we could. Some accepted it easier than others but we've all been trying to be here for him" Chris explains.
