Stefan and Damon were watching the whole romantic scene between Klaus and Elena; Stefan followed Elena when she ran out of the house and he called Damon to come with him because a catastrophe was around the corner.
'So this is the catastrophe,' said Damon, taken aback.
'The worst one,' replied Stefan. They both stared at what was happening in front of their eyes, unable to believe it.
'How could you let this happen?' Damon turned at his brother in shock. 'How could you let her run away from you TO HIM?'
'So was I supposed to lock her up at home or what?'
'Anything would have been better than letting her go!' growled Damon. 'We have to make her remember who she really is... We have to force Klaus to cancel the compulsion...'
'He's already done that,' uttered Stefan.
'What?' Damon gasped for breath. 'So THIS,' he pointed at the kissing Klelena in the distance with a disgusted face, 'is happening from her FREE WILL?'
'Sometimes you can't command to your heart and you fall in love with a monster,' said Stefan in a broken voice. 'Remember us and Katherine.'
'At least Katherine was hot,' noted Damon. 'So what are we gonna do with this? Are we gonna lock her up in a cell? Let her starve?'
'And what are you gonna achieve with that? Youc can't get the love out of her by using violence.'
'So what? Are you gonna give up and watch that beast licking your girlfriend?'
'That's interesting that you care so much,' observed Stefan. 'We both know very well that you want her to be your girlfriend.'
'That's true, but better you have her than Klaus,' grinned Damon. 'In any case, I'm not gonna leave it like this.'
'So what do you suggest?'
'Step number one - separate the lamb from the lion.'
'How poetic you are,' muttered Stefan.
'I'm not, but I've read Twilight,' grinned Damon. 'Let's wait until she's alone, then we'll kidnap her, lock her up and talk to her a lot. Elena's the purest soul I know. She'll understand that loving Klaus is bad... Are you in?'
Once again, Stefan looked at Klelena, occupied with passionate kisses, and he had to fight the urge to go there to stop this mess. 'I'm in,' he finally said and he squeezed Damon's arm.
