Damon got back upstairs to the living room, where Stefan was nervously walking back and forth. 'So?' he turned to Damon immediately. 'Do you think it'll work?'
'We've only just locked her up in there. We have to be patient,' replied Damon.
'Since when are you the patient one?' noted Stefan and he went to pour himself some bourbon.
'I'll have some too,' Damon waved at him and Stefan handed him a filled glass.
'I'm just not sure if this is really was the best solution,' said Stefan. 'We might break her, but maybe all we'll achieve is that she'll hate us both.'
'It's worth the shot,' observed Damon, and he drank the whole glass at once and let Stefan pour him another one. 'Still better than letting her sleep in one bed with that bastard.'
'You're right,' admitted Stefan. 'However, that reminds me... what are we going to do WITH HIM? It's just a matter of time before he finds out we've been keeping Elena here. He'll be furious.'
'He will,' nodded Damon. 'We have to be ready.' Damon took his cellphone out of the pocket of his dark jeans and he dialled Bonnie's number. She answered the call right after the first ring, which seemed a bit strange to Damon, but he didn't mind it at all.
'Hello, Damon, my least favourite vampire,' she greeted him bitterly.
'Hey, Bonnie, my least favourite witch,' Damon didn't let her humble him.
'Be nice to her,' Stefan hissed at him. 'We need her.'
'What's the matter?' asked Bonnie.
'Do you remember how Elena sort of got out of control and became an unbearably annoying teenage vampire Beauty with a crush on the Beast? That's exactly the matter. Come here as fast as you can.'
'I'll be there in ten minutes,' blurted Bonnie and she hung up.
'I hope you have a plan,' stated Stefan.
'I hope Bonnie will come up with one,' shrugged Damon and he emptied another glass.
