When Marie and Delta landed back at camp all of Deltas friends ran up to them, and bombarded her with questions.

"Where have you been?!"

"What happened?!"

"Why did you do that?!"

"You have some explaining to do!"

Then they all yelled at the same time, "TELL US!"

"I will okay," Delta assured. "But first where's Clarisse?"

"Right here," Delta heard Clarisse reply from behind her. Delta turned around and saw her. She ran up to her and hugged her. Delta was surprised when Clarisse hugged back, thinking she was mad at her for what she did. Delta had tears in her eyes. "I'm so sorry."

Clarisse gave a light chuckle. "It's okay Delta. You lost control, it happens."

"It's just . . . I-I don't know what happened."

"It's okay."

"Thanks for not being mad."

"No problem. But you gotta tell us where did you go? And why?"

Delta released Clarisse and turned around face her friends as well as her. "I left because I was scared." She turned to Clarisse. "I was scared that you'd hate me like everybody else."

"None of us hate you Delta," Percy assured.

"How could you not?" Delta replied. "I've been a bitch to all of you this whole summer. Hell, I hate me."

"Well you shouldn't because we don't," Annabeth repeated.

"Now that that's out of the way, where did you go?" Thalia asked.

"I went to see my mom."

Everybody's mouths were hanging open. Them being shocked would be an understatement. On many occasions Delta had told them she would never talk to Sally Jackson, and out of the blue she did.

"Y-you saw mom?" Percy was the first to recover to ask.

Delta nodded. "It was kind of a spur of the moment decision, but I'm glad I made it." After a moment of silence Delta spoke, "I'm sorry."

Everyone was confused, but it was Jason who voiced their thoughts, "What are you sorry for?"

"For trying to kill myself. I admit it was sort of stupid."

"It was extremely stupid!" Annabeth exclaimed. Annabeth was probably taking that the worst. She deeply cared for Delta. She was like a little sister to her.

"I'm sorry," Delta repeated.

"You have nothing to be sorry for," Piper spoke up. It may have been because of Pipers charm speak, but suddenly Delta felt like she didn't have to apologize.

"Yeah," Frank agreed. "We're the ones who should be apologizing."

"Why would you guys apologize? You didn't do anything?"

"That's exactly it," Leo said. "We didn't do anything."

"We weren't there for you when you needed us," Nico elaborated.

"We're the ones who made you feel alone," Hazel went on.

"And for that we're sorry," Reyna apologized.

"We promise to do better," Clarisse spoke. "All of us." Everybody nodded in agreement.

"Ok well, there's just one more thing," Percy said.

"What is it?" Delta asked.

Percy looked back at the others. "I really don't want to say it." Thalia elbowed him. "Ugh, fine make me the bearer of bad news." Percy took a deep breath and spoke really fast. "Rachelgaveanotherprophecywhileyouweregoneandnowwehavetogoonanotherquest."

Delta looked at him confused along with everyone else. "What? Speak normally Percy."

"We're going on another quest."

Deltas heart dropped.
