Delta's body jolted upward as everyone screamed and jumped back. Everyone was confused as they stared at Deltas still lifeless body. Lightning struck her again causing her body to jolt. She still didn't move.
Annabeth ran over to Percy. "Percy, what's happening?!" She had to scream over the thunder as lightning struck Delta again.
"I don't know!" He screamed back as another bolt struck Delta. "It's gotta be Zeus! He's trying to bring her back!" Another bolt struck her.
"I thought you said that they refused to!"
"They did!" Another bolt struck her. "Something must've changed their minds!" Another bolt struck her. She didn't move and the thunder settled down. "No. No!" Percy ran over to Deltas still lifeless body. He patted her face as he spoke, "Come on Delta. Please. Please!" He sobbed over her body.
Annabeth walked over to him. "I'm sorry."
Percy backed up and looked to the sky. "Zeus just one more time! Please! One more and if it doesn't work I'll understand!" Thunder once again rumbled the skies as one more bolt of lightning struck Deltas body. Her body jolted upward but did nothing else. Percy sobbed into Annabeths arms.
Then they heard coughing.
Everyone turned and looked at Delta.
She was still laying there lifeless.
"My bad," a random camper apologized since he was the one that coughed.
This just brought more tears to Sally and Percy. Percy buried his face in Annabeths neck. More coughing was heard, but no one looked knowing that it was just the camper.
Then they heard a voice they thought they would never hear again, "Damn. Who died guys?"
Everyone turned to Delta seeing her sitting up with a stupid grin on her face. "YOU DID YOU IDIOT!" Clarisse yelled at her as she marched over to her and gave her a hug.
"Damn Clarisse, didn't think you cared," Delta joked as she hugged back.
They pulled away. "Of course I care, Jackson." She poke Delta in the chest. "So don't you die on me again."
Delta put her hands up in surrender. "I don't plan to." Clarisse nodded and walked back over to Chris.
Then Delta was engulfed in a bone crushing hug by her brother and mother. "Um, can't breath."They both let go. Sally caressed her cheek. "Oh honey, I love you so much."
Delta smiled. "I love you to mom." The rest of the group walked over to them and started to talk all at once. "Guys." They kept talking. "Guys." They still didn't listen. "GUYS!" They all shut up. "Thank you. Now one at a time people."
"I'm really glad you're okay," Annabeth went first. "We all are." Everyone nodded in agreement.
"You had has worried sick," Piper scolded her. "We though you were dead!"
"Um, I was dead," Delta replied with a grin.
"You know what I mean!"
"What she means to say," Jason intervened as he put a hand on Pipers shoulder, "is that we're really happy that you're not dead anymore."
"Yeah," Leo agreed. "And since you were busy being dead and didn't hear me earlier, we all love you Delta, so don't forget that."
"Never," Delta replied with a laugh.
They all shared a group hug, even Nico joined, as they were all just happy to have her back.
