when the universe collided
a star split in half
and two souls
began to craft
the souls went their separate ways for awhile
then one day
they smiled
for they had finally been reunited after all this time
different versions
of the same mind
one soul had to leave
but they patiently awaited
when together again they'd breathe
because they came from the same star
and will always feel connected
no matter the distance apart
