The sun was high up in the sky when you walked out of the Iris cabin. It was a weekend so sleeping in was allowed and you decided to take the privilege. Looking around the area surrounding the cabins, you saw no one, assuming they were at the Pavilion for lunch.

As you were peacefully walking towards the outside eating area, someone bumped into you, knocking you to the ground. In your opinion, grass was a nice thing to look at, just not up close with your entire face in it.

"Ow," You muttered, sitting up to rub your side that had been bumped into. You were going to politely yell at whoever had ran into you but one look at them made you a muttering mess.

The person above you mumbled apologies as they helped you up, their words becoming one big jumbled mess, much like the state your brain was after one look. The person was simply beautiful, a work of the gods if you do say so, which is funny since the person was a demigod most likely.

Once you stood up, turn away from the work of art that stood in front of you, hoping that they wouldn't notice the blush covering your cheeks.

"Thank you," You mumbled, wiping the dirt off of your pants. You were trying very hard to ignore the person's stare but it was getting harder every second.

The person opened their mouth, probably to yell at you or something, when they were interrupted by a call.

"Piper, you're going to miss out on the tofu tacos!" One of the Aphrodite children shouted, waving to her from the Dining Pavilion.

The person, who you now knew as Piper, flashed a quick smile before running off. You thought that this interaction was odd but brushed it off. It's not like the two of you will run into each other again.

Oh how sweet and naive you are little reader. You think the oneshot will end like that? It could but where's the fun in that.

These incidents seemed to always end up happening. You would be walking anywhere and there Piper would be, ready to knock you over.

The awkward conversations after she fell on to you soon melted away, leaving only playful banter. This continued over the span of a couple months, making you believe that they were more then accidents.

This lovely Friday, you were walking to the Poseidon cabin because of some favor you somehow owed Percy.

Along the way, someone knocked into you, using you as a pillow as they landed on top of you.

"Good morning Piper, how was the fall today?" You asked, already knowing who was on you without opening your eyes.

"Oh, very comfy. A solid 7/10," She said, patting your arm that laid on the grass beside you.

The two of you laughed at her rating as you always seemed to do. Once you were finished, you just stayed there with her resting on your chest.

"This would be a lovely date," You said, the words slipping out of your mouth before your brain could catch up.

Luckily for you, you didn't have to sit in embarrassment for long. Piper had rolled off of you and laid in the grass beside you.

"Well we're here now, right?" She said, looking up at the clouds as they passed by with the summer breeze.

You nervously grabbed on to her pinkie with your own, smiling once you see her relaxed expression.

"Yeah, I guess we are."
