High school was taking a lot out of you. Every day was a struggle and you couldn't wait until next semester, when you'd have all your easier courses. Your friends kept telling you to take a break, that you were pushing yourself too much, but you didn't care. You needed to get good grades for any university to even consider you.

Your boyfriend was also worried about you. He went to the same high school as you but you never got the chance to slow down and talk long with each other. Either you had to work or he had some manufacturing project due the next day. The only time you two spent in each other's presence was when you were both studying for an upcoming test or exam.

He had come over to your apartment this time and was laying on your bed, lazily flipping through a textbook. You, on the other hand, were sitting on the floor near the side of the bed with your notes spread out in front of you.

Leo had given up studying and instead stared down at you. He watched silently as you chewed on the top of your pencil while your free hand was drumming on your thigh.

"Y/n," Leo whined after staring at you for ten minutes.

You only hummed at him. You were too focused on the material in front of you to even hear Leo.

"My hair's on fire," Leo said, hoping to gain your attention. When he was met with silence, he continued. "I'm pregnant," He said, moving closer to you to see your reaction.

"That's nice, Honey," You responded, stacking a couple of notes on top of another one.

"I'm going to cancel your Netflix subscription," Leo said. Now he was laying on his stomach behind your head. He reached out to touch your hair when you turned to face him.

"You better not touch my Netflix account or I'm gonna tell Percy that you were the one who ate all his Sour Patch Kids," You replied, looking Leo dead in the eye.

Leo was going to back down but when he noticed how stressed you looked, his face instantly softened. "I'll tell Annabeth that you helped the Stoll's with their spider prank if you don't take a break right now." Leo replied.

You huffed and looked up at the clock that was sitting on your bedside table. 7:48 PM blinked at you in red, taunting you. While you were staring at your clock, Leo had gotten off the bed and had started cleaning up your notes.

By the time you had zoned back in, Leo had finished and was laying back on the bed, staring at you. You sighed and got up, your bones cracking because of the position. You laid down beside Leo and he immediately wrapped his arms around you.

You instantly relaxed as Leo started playing with your hair. You hadn't realized how tired you were until you were forcing yourself to stay up with Leo.

"Just go to sleep. I'm not going anywhere," Leo whispered into your hair as he cuddled closer. 

How could you say no to that?
