Child of Terpischore°°°
Of course, you were in the infirmary again. It was the twentieth time this month and you still had one more week to go.
You always found it hard to stay on your feet which was weird since your mother is Terpsichore, the muse of dancing and dramatic chorus.
Many of the older campers had started betting on the amount of times you would end up in the infirmary. Recently, most of your injuries were 'accidents' caused by the Ares Cabin. Most of them were sore losers and would do anything to get a few extra coins.
You limped into the infirmary, clutching your right arm close to your chest. You had been helping Harley with a new machine when something backfired, causing aused one of your bones to break.
"Here again I see," Will said, lifting his gaze up from the clipboard in his hands. Will looked tired, as if he hadn't slept in a few days but his eyes lit up when he saw you.
"It's only because I lead a more adventurous life then you do Solace," You replied with a sheepish smile. You tried to rub the back of your neck due to your embarrassment, but immediately remembered your broken arm.
Will sighed before setting down the clipboard. He gestured to an open cot and examined your arm once you sat down.
"Your arm's going to have to heal by its self this time. We can't risk any more nectar or ambrosia," He said, scribbling unreadable words on to the clipboard.
"I, (Y/n) (L/n), child of Terpsichore promise not to break another bone in my body," You said, patting the left side of your chest with your hand. You instantly wince, noticing you had moved your right hand from the sling
Will scoffed and shook his head. "Like I believe that," He pointed at the door, "you can leave now if that's all."
You slid off the bed, making no noise as you landed on your feet. Feeling confident, you placed a little kiss on Will's cheek before zooming out of the room.
You could hear the sounds of Will yelling but it was soon blocked out by your own laughter.
As the cabins came closer into view, you slowed down, not wanting to get hurt. It was strange that for having such a graceful muse as a mother, you ended up moving like a bambi.
You were almost to the safety of the muses' cabin when someone came flying towards you.
Instantly, you found yourself on the ground, your broken arm was the only thing keeping the person above you from crushing you.
Your head started ringing as you met eyes with the guilt-filled ones of Jason Grace. He immediately stood up and started talking to you but the words weren't clicking in your head.
Your eyes started drooping. All you wanted to do right now was sleep. The ground usually wasn't comfortable but right now, it seemed better than your own bed.
Another blond boy entered your narrowing gaze and the words 'Hey Will' came out of your mouth. You felt as if that was enough to allow yourself some rest and that's exactly what you did.
°°°
After waking up, you had learned that you had hit your head roughly off the ground. Will had deemed you fine but wouldn't let you leave his sight until you were completely healed. Even after that, Will would accompany you almost anywhere.
Will had said it was so he could monitor your head but after three months of it, you believed otherwise. In those three months, you had less injuries than you had had in the last year. Will would always intervene in a situation he found dangerous, preventing you from getting hurt.
