Helen felt sympathy towards Julia. She knew how it felt to lose a beloved one. Helen was an orphan who was adopted and raised in the custody of the "Willson" family. They were so nice family that she never felt the absence of parental love. Life was great till the father died. After the death of her husband, the wife/mother started maltreating Helen. Helen couldn't bear it and runaway from home. She needed to support herself and that's why she worked as a maid. But Helen's dream was to become a chef and maybe one day open her own restaurant.

Evening had fell and it was dinner time. Both Julia and Annie came down to eat. It was the most awkward and heartbreaking meeting for Julia. She knew who Annie was but Annie hadn't the smallest hint who Julia was. Everybody sat down and Helen brought out the dinner. Helen felt sympathy towards both Annie and Julia.

"Excuse me dear, I just want to know who are you and why are we hear?" Annie asked Julia.

"I am your daughter. We are here because dad wanted us to be safe."Julia thought in her head but never said it. If she was to say that, Annie wouldn't have believe it.

"Well, I am Emily, your niece. I am here to spend time with you and to go to school this year in London," Julia lied trying her best to stay strong and confident.

"Oh yes! Emily, my dear. Look how much you have grown. You just look like me. We will spend a lovely time together," Annie said joyfully.

"We sure will," muttered Julia.

They finished their food and then went to their rooms.

"Goodnight Julia", said Annie.

"Goodnight Aunt Annie", replied Julia shudding a bit of tears.

Then she whispered,"Goodnight dearest mom."

Weeks went and summer vacations were almost over. Every year Julia used to be excited for school so she could meet her friends and tell her parents how she spent her day in school. She also used to invite her friends to come over and study or have a slumber party while Ms.Mary, her old maid, used to cook them cookies, cakes and many other delicious goodies.

Mary was an old lady who was soft, thoughtful and kind. As well as being her maid, she was her nanny when Julia was younger. So , when Julia left, both Mary and Julia felt devasted since they knew each other for so long. But Mary confirmed her that they will meet.

Unfortunately, this time there was no one to share how her day was nor friends to have fun with. It was a new school that her father registered her to.
