Days passed and everything seemed normal. Julia's school held an event where the students could invite anyone to join. At that day the school gets flawlessly decorated and clowns as well as many animals are brought into the school. Julia invited Annie, Helen and Grady. Helen was excited as she was an animal lover. Grady was happy to know that there are clowns. Annie loved that they were going to spend time together. But Julia was the only one who wasn't going to enjoy it. She was coulrophobic.
This happened because of an accident that occurred when Julia was young. Julia felt like she couldn't trust them because of their overly painted faces, and big red noses. Their appearances were petrifying for Julia.
"Julia, is everything alright?"asked Helen as she noticed the fear on Julia's face.
"Yeah....... everything is alright,"replied Julia trying to sound as confident as possible.
Helen wasn't satisfied. She knew something was wrong.
"Is everyone ready?"asked Annie.
"Yes, we are all ready,"replied Julia. "Not quiet ready."
"Wait, where is Grady?" asked Helen.
"Here I am,"said Grady as he entered from the front door,"sorry for being late."
James arrived at the front gate. All got in the car.
"Julia, you know you could tell me anything. What is stressing you?" asked Helen as she noticed Julia squeezing her hands.
"It's just.... I am terrified of clowns"replied Julia, nervously.
"Don't worry Julia, I am going to show you a trick that is going to help you,"replied Helen as she held Julia's hand trying to calm her.
"Thank you,"said Julia. Helen nodded and gave a conforming smile.
"Welcome to the annual Mystic High fun fair. Enjoy!" said the host who welcomed Julia, Annie, Grady and Helen.
"Oh my god! Look at these cute animals!" exclaimed Helen.
"Yes, indeed,"said John who appeared with Thomason.
"Good afternoon everyone,"greeted Thomason. Julia cheered up on seeing Thomason.
"Let's go and see the clowns,",said Grady. Everybody agreed except Julia.
"Clowns....Clowns....Clowns" said Julia with terror.
"Relax Julia. I am going to tell you the trick. Clowns are just people who are here to entertain us and not harm us. Keep this in mind and you will be fine."
"I will try. Thanks Helen,"said Julia now seeming more calm.
"Yes, Julia. Dont worry. I will be here to help you," said Thomason as he took her hand.
When they approached the clowns, Julia clinched Thomason's arm. But then she became more relaxed.
"I am going to bring a drink,"said Grady and then went on his way.
Thomason and Julia took a small walk around the park. John was left with Helen. Helen was playing with the kittens. She treated them with utmost care. John fell even harder in love with Helen. He grabbed her hands and took her to the inside of the school.
