Ch:11 That's For Me!

Helen was jumping joyfully while cooking dinner. Then she called both Annie and Julia for dinner.

"You seem to be over the moon today, Helen. What happened? ",asked Annie.

"Nothing madam," replied Helen as she stared at Julia to which both of them giggled.

"If you say so,"replied Annie, "I am not hungry right now. I will go to my room. Goodnight girls. "

"Goodnight," both replied.

Once she went, Julia asked Helen to sit with her.

"Helen, you're so good in cooking. Could you teach me to cook like you? "said Julia.

"Thank you so much. Sure, I will teach you any other day,"replied Helen.

"Yay! Well have to go to sleep. Goodnight. "

"Goodnight and sweet dreams,"replied Helen.

The tree house was built by Grady because he liked to think and wonder. The story began when he used to walk and wonder around in the field. He found this beautiful and enormous tree. This gave him an idea of building a tree house where he could spend some time alone and paint. With time and effort, the tree house was finally done.

One day, when he was on his way to the tree house, he saw Julia and Helen sitting in it. He was fascinated by Helen and everything about her, her ginger hair, her freckles and her gorgeous blue eyes. So he decided to go earlier to the tree house so he could organize it for her. Finally, he wanted to introduce himself to her. After introducing himself, he started drawing as usual. He found it cute when Helen was devastated and couldn't solve the equation and even cuter when she blushed as he sat besides her.When Helen hugged him, he became really shy. After she left, the only thing that was on his mind was the hug. The hug was warm and soft just like Helen's heart.

Grady took out his painting brushes and started to draw Helen. He drew again and again because he didn't want to miss any detail. Although he knew the painting wouldn't be as beautiful as Helen, he decided to try his best. After long hours of drawing, the painting was finally completed. Grady wrapped it in the best covering he had and tied it with the loveliest ribbons.

"I am going to place this painting in front of the house. I hope she will like it."

He wrote a sweet letter, which he attached with the painting. On his way to the house, he decided to take a rose from the field. He placed the gift in front of the door and left immediately.

In the morning of the next day, while Annie was asleep and Julia was at school, Helen went to check the mail as she did every morning. She was surprised the gift at the door and even more shocked when she found out it was for her. Helen read the letter to which she smiled like she never did in her entire life. In the letter it was written,

"Dearest Helen,
This painting I did for you. I really hope you will like it even though it's incomparable to your beauty. Would love to see you again soon. "

Helen took the rose, which she completely adored. She at once opened the painting.

"Oh my! This is so pretty. This is the sweetest thing a person ever did for me. I want to repay him. What could I do? "

After a long thinking, she decided to bake for him delicious mini apple pies. Since it will take so long, Helen started right away.
