Livestock (Lacus x Reader) Part 1

You scream out in anger as you kick a tin can towards an abandoned building, the metal clanking loudly against the crumbling mass of bricks and glass. Your white clothes loosely hanging against your (S/C) body.

You were fed up of the red eyed bastards treating you as if you were only livestock, their own personal blood bag. As you stomped your foot in anger you heard the sarcastic noise of a tut behind you.

"Naughty livestock getting angry before feeding time." He cries out as he rests his arms on his hips. You turn around quickly with a frown on your face and look up at the bitch of a vamp in front of you, his red eyes looking down at your own (E/C) orbs.

"What do you want?" You say with a menacing glare as you look up at the purple haired vampire, his fangs glinting in the morning light as he smiles down at you.

"Oh I was just wondering what such a pretty little livestock like yourself is doing away from the pen. You know we can't keep you safe from the monsters when you're this far away from us." You groan and ignore his comment as you start walking further away from camp.

"Shut up and leave me alone!" You snap out in anger as you kick an empty coca cola glass watching it as it shattered against a rogue brick. Once again, you hear the enchanting vampire tut at your ignorance.

Of course you hadn't failed to notice his blood red eyes, or his violet hair which seemed just as perky as his personality. Plus the sword he held looked pretty nice too... although you couldn't help but imagine him with the beautiful weapon plunged deep into his chest.

As you continue to walk away you are followed by the same vampire, his long strides quickly matching your own. "Now why would I leave such a delicious smelling human alone at a time like this?" He asked in an exasperated voice. "You know.... with the war brewing between humans and vampires.... the monsters roaming cities and whatnot" he states before smirking down at your irritated expression.

You look up at him and sigh in defeat. There was no way of getting this guy to leave. 'DAMN HIM!' you thought before sitting on a long abandoned bench in what looked like a former park. "Well if you're going to follow me around the I might as well know your name" you say as you look up at him, your (H/C) shining in the sunlight as you clasp your hands together.

"Lacus" he says in a happy tone of voice "a pleasure to meet you....?" He looks at you with a questioning expression, his brows creased in curiosity. You look away from his strong gaze as you murmur your name. (F/N).... (F/N) (L/N)."

He says your name a few times in content, each syllable rolling off his tongue like a serpentine through grass. "So... (F/N) .. do you like dogs?" He asks as he sits beside you smiling like the Cheshire cat. "Honestly I (opinion) dogs" you state plainly as you look at his lean yet muscular body.

His eyes glint in admiration as he looks down at you, his mouth open to say something but only to be stopped by a thud beside him.

"Hi Rene!" Lacus cries out as he turns to face his black haired friend. "I was just sorting out this naughty human who strayed too far from their pen" he states loudly as he moves over you your side and wraps an arm around your body. "I was just talking to her about very important stuff!" He continues before you scoff and look up at him. "Yeah... because obviously knowing whether I like dogs is extremely important."

Rene gives you a knowing look before pulling Lacus away from you. "I have to deal with him 24/7.. be happy that you don't have that" he states in a monotone voice before turning to talk to Lacus. "Lord Ferid has a job for us, we need to be going now" he says as he looks towards the sun, "we need to be there by noon.. we don't have much time left" he states once again, in his monotone voice before starting to walk away.

Lacus pouts in dissapointment as he looks at Rene before running up to you and hugging you tightly. "We'll have to talk again soon sometime! You're an interesting human and I like that. Very.... MYSTERIOUS!" He cries out childishly before smiling at you and waving. "Get back to your pen safely livestock! I'll see you again soon!" He shouts as he goes running after his partner.

What an idiot. You though as you sigh in irritation, did that guy really count as being able to become a friend... or does he just want my blood? As questions rumbled in your mind like a storm you started to walk back towards the other humans, your stomach rumbling from lack of food.

As you shrugged off the perky vampire, you couldn't help but smile at how idiotic he seemed. But was there a sly fox beneath? You had no clue whatsoever. You swore lightly under your breath as you reached the camp and you began living your dull, boring life once again.

What you did not know however, was that your name was swimming around Lacus's mind and he couldn't stop it. He wanted to see you again and talk... laugh at you and your curious personality. You amused him and you weren't a coward. He laughed under his breath as he followed Rene to the destination. "(F/N) (L/N)... what an interesting human" he whispered before grinning like a fox.
