19|Death

((3rd Person POV))
  "We're almost there," called Clint from the cockpit. "What's the plan Cap?"

  "Tony is Sam still there?" Tony checked out the tracker only to find the dot gone.

  "It's gone," he said trying to bring the dot back. "Sam's tracker is gone."

  "What do you mean it's gone?" Nat asked.

  "I mean the dot is gone. Last location is at the building."

  "Leonardo must have figured us out," she said. "Cap we need a plan, Clint fly faster."

  "If he's figured us out that means there will be more guards ready to attack. Bruce you stay in the jet, since we don't know how much security he has," Banner just nodded his head.

"How do we get in?" Oliver asked as he got his bow ready.

"We knock," Cap said.

Soon enough they were just a few seconds away from the building. Clint flew down to the ground as close as he could as the others jumped or flew out. Just as Captain America had promised he had Thor use his hammer to 'knock' on the door.

There were many agents but they didn't need the green guy. Cap with his shield, Bucky with his weapons and robotic arm, Tony with his suit, Thor with his hammer, Loki with his limited magic, Peter with his web shooters, Natasha with her guns, Clint and Oliver with their bows, and Bruce Wayne with his utility belt and various other hidden weapons.

It hadn't taken much time for them to defeat all the garnets as well as tie up the scientist and other people who helped him. Tony was able to track down Leonardo into a room. The mad man stood there, a smile on his face.

"The Avengers," he greeted pushing himself off the table. "I see you brought the Bat, the Spider, and the Green Bird," to which he was referring to Wayne, Parker, and Queen. "What brings you to my humble abode?" Bucky was the one to forcefully push Leonardo into the wall, using his robotic arm of course.

"Where is she?" He asked in a low enough tone that only Leonardo could have heard him.

"Where's who?"

"Samantha," Leo had faked being in thought before his eyes met the Winter Soldiers.

"Dead," was all he said. "She's long gone from this earth?"

"LIE!" Peter yelled, he had heard what maniac had said. "Sammy is too strong to just die!"

"Yes she was strong," he had said, the smile never fading from his face. "But she was not ready for the machine. She died." Natasha had enough of what he had to say so she nodded to Loki who simply nodded back before whispering a sleeping spell directing it to Leo who instantly fell into slumber.

"She-she... she just can't be dead," the desperation in Peter's voice was heavy. "He has to be lying. He must have hidden her."

"We'll find her kid," Batman said. "Why don't half of us check in here while the other hand checks outside." So they went with the plan. Steve, Nat, Thor, Loki, and Oliver were checking inside while Tony, Bucky, Clint, Peter, and Batman all checked outside.

Tony was up in the sky as Jarvis scanned around. "Sir there seems to be no alive life force other then the team. Shall I search for dead life force?" As much as the billionaire wanted to say no he had said yes. "There seems to be a dead life force north west from you."

  On the screen, inside the suit, a red outline was made. Tony flew towards it praying that it wasn't Samantha but a part of him felt as thought it would be her. That her body would be there because she was dead.
