((Samantha's POV))
The warmth I felt all over my body was the best. I believe the only physical contact I want from anyone are the people who are currently hugging me. But at the thought of physical contact memories started popping back up into my mind. It's not like I had a choice to stop them, they were just attacking me one after another. And as those memories flooded my mind the faces of the people who currently hug me changed. They became into the people who made my life Hell.

In a blink I was out of the hug. My light blue and brown eyes subconsciously grew large in size as the faces didn't disappear. I knew they were fake yet my mind convinced me that they weren't. That the people who I saw were real and not a figment of my imagination.

"Sam?" Even their voices sounded like them.

I started shaking my head. "No, no, no, no, no."

"Sammy you ok," I could feel my heartbeat quickened as I was slowly backing away.

In a snap I was running out of the living. I managed to dodge every single one of them when they tried to get me. I knew it was all fake but my mind was so convincing that it made me believe it was real.

Inside the elevator I tried controlling my breathing, for it not to be as hard but that was impossible.

When the doors had opened I fast walked out of the small space and into the room I've been staying at. Locking the door behind me I climbed I to the bed, knees up to my best as my arms were wrapped around them.

  "Jarvis?"

"Yes Miss María?" The British AI asked.

"Don't let anyone in. Lock the doors and air vents."

"Miss I do believe that is not the best-" I cut him off.

"Por favor, no quiero hablar con la gente." After that I heard things shut before it was completely silent.

I knew it was wrong to do this. To shut everyone out but I need time. I need to think and forget about the past. But how can I when it keeps attacking me?

Haki had hopped onto my bed. A smile formed on my face just for a quick second as I pressed my forehead against her.

"You're the only one that knows," I whispered. And she was the only who knew everything, her and Wally but he's gone.

She pressed herself against me before laying down in front of me. I hugged her as if she were a teddy bear. I knew that at some point I had to spill. That I have to tell the others of my problem and even though it may not sound big it's a huge deal to me. It's what shaped me into the person I am and what I do. But for now I get to be alone. I get to cry and think things over. I'm allowed to do so without interruption.

((Peter's POV))
I felt so much happiness seeing Sammy Cat. She was breathing and alive and that's all that matters. But when she had ripped away from the hug, her eyes huge in fear, and ran away from us I couldn't help but feel something in my gut.

  "Jarvis where's Sam?" Tony asked.

"In her room sir," that's he needed to say before we all ran towards the elevator but since not many can fit in some of us had to take the stairs. Me being one of those people.

When the rest of us arrived at Sam's floor the others were outside her door knocking as Tony was on a holographic computer.

  "What's wrong?" I asked.

  "The doors locked," Bruce(Banner) answered.

"Can't Jarvis just open the door?" Bucky asked from behind me.

"Tony already tried," Clint answered this time. "As you can clearly see didn't work. Jarvis answered saying something about Sam needing time."

"Do you know what's wrong?" Natasha asked from beside me as I shook my head.

"Not that I know of." She just nodded her head before walking over to Tony.

"Maybe I could climb into the vents," and that was a smart plan so we allowed Clint to climb into the vents. A few seconds later he jumps down. "She locked the vents leading into her room."

"Is that even possible?" I asked.

"Apparently!" He said. "Anybody else for an idea?" Yet no one did. Tony, Nat, Wayne, and Oliver were all huddled together trying to open the door while Steve was knocking on the door saying something.

"Why don't we just let her have sometime?" I suggested. "She was with that lunatic for a few days and who knows what he did to her. Including with that machine he had put her through."

"He's got a point," Bucky said. "Let's just give her time and space to think things though. Sooner or later she'll have to come out." And so we had left her. I was a bit worried about my sister but she did have things happen to her so I'll give her time and space. She'll eventually come out.

((3rd Person POV))
For five weeks Samantha was locked in her room. Not a single Avengers nor Batsy or Oliver saw her. The first week everyone thought of this as normal but as the days went by they started to worry. Peter had tried countless of times to get her out, to at least get her to talk through the door but nothing worked.

As for Sam? At night, very late like 2 or 3 in the morning she would sneak out of her room grabbing something to eat before sneaking back into her room with food for herself and Haki.

When Sam was asleep she would enter the dreams of others. Making them better so the person would be happy. That was one of her powers. Over the course of those five weeks Samantha was able to learn that she had Dream Manipulation which allowed her to do anything to another's dream. She had Precognition which allows her to see into the future but they extremely rare. And when they do happen it's mostly in her sleep but she can never remember, they'd always be blurry. When Sam did have a flash into the future when awake they would be quick. Then there's her ability that allows her to use anything as a weapon with full knowledge on how to use it. The last one is memory manipulation. She had used that one when Clint came to her floor only to find her eating. Because of the memories she had accidentally used that power on him to forget he ever say her. But she had learned that if she manipulated someone's mind she would forget something of her own past. So she doesn't want to use that power too much, at at all.

Some days she would break down with the only person to help is Haki. And although her cheetah was to comfort her it also didn't feel enough for her. She knew she needed human contact, to talk about the things that have been weighing her down for so long.

She sighed. Haki was laying in front of her; she was petting the cheetah's yellow and black dotted fur deep in thought. She was arguing with herself on whether or not to spill and take the weights off her shoulder or to let them sit there for the rest of her life.

Sam had remembered a quote she once read it had said, "You always knew that one day you would stand up for yourself... That one day you would raise the standard of your life... That one day would say to yourself "Enough with this
bull$h!t"... You might as well make today that day." That quote was from Steve Maraboli. It wasn't until now that she had decided to have enough of the bull, that today would be the day she would spill all about herself.

"Jarvis?" She asked.

"Yes Miss María?"

"Tell the others to come to my floor. It time to tell my story."

"Right away Miss. Shall I unlock the doors?"

"Yes please," with that the doors and vents were unlocked. All she had to do was wait for the others to come.
