You were out in the thick exotic woods, lost. You were sure you were going the right way. Nothing looked familiar though. You began to panic a little, just how far in this place have you gone.
You knew there were monsters deep within the forest. The trees had insanely thick trunks and branches, the trees were huge. You nervously walked though the forest, listening to every sound.
It was afternoon, about two o' clock, your guessing. You only wanted to explore these woods, not get lost. You had lived twenty minutes from the front of the woods all you life but never explored them till today. A sudden snap of a twig was heard.
You gasped and looked around quickly. Suddenly, a cat like monster jumped out of the thick brush. It growled and roared. You turned and sprinted off. Your heart was pumping as adrenaline raced through you.
You stumbled for a moment, giving the cat beast a chance to claw at your leg. You screamed as it's claws tore through your leg. You stumbled again and fell.
You see a large thorn bush close to you, there was a space just big enough for you to crawl in. The cat beast slashed your lower back and arm. You grabbed some dry dirt and threw it in the cats face.
It hissed, momentarily blind. You crawl deep into the brush and stay there. The cat tries to claw at the bush but the thorns and thick vines keep it out. It roars in anger.
The cat beast stayed there for a good thirty minutes before leaving. You waited a while before crawling out and checking your wounds. Your arm and back only had scratches, nothing too bad. Your leg however, was badly injured.
You try to stand up but fail. It takes several tries before you finally are able to stand. You limp badly through the forest, quietly whimpering. You were shaking due to shock and the pain in your leg.
You heard a small russle in the ferns. You just thought it was a squirrel. You stumbled and fell a few times. Your breathing was heavy. It was late afternoon now. You limped over to a tree and fell.
You rested against the tree, whimpering. The russling grew louder. 'This is it,' you thought. 'I'm gonna die.' You think. You heard thumping footsteps come closer. You whined softly as your leg stung.
You heard a low, throaty growl. A large skeleton came into view. He had a tail and was rather large, about two feet taller than you. He wore ragged clothes, a white shirt, blue jacket, and black with a white stripe workout shorts.
You whimpered in fear, shaking badly. It was on all fours now, growling at you. It scanned you up and down and came really close to you. It looked at your injured leg and nudged it. You yelp and whimper.
It's expression grew a little softer. It began to make a purring growling sound. The beast picked you up by the back of your shirt and carried you. You couldn't do anything about it.
The skeleton beast brought you to an area where the trees were much closer together. He started to climb it. You could see large, sturdy nests. It seemed that the top of the nest was curved, creating a roof. These trees were tall. He brought you to one of the nests.
The floor of the nest was covered in cotton and actually rather clean, other than the random torn clothes scattered and a few items here and there. He set you down gently.
You were still very scared and hurt. Tears were running down your face. The beast seemed to noticed and his expression became worried. Why did this skeleton care for a little human like you?
The skeleton looked at you for a moment before leaving. You just laid there now. You could hear clicks and similar sounds to what the skeleton made. Were there more? Did he bring you to an entire nest of them?
