Emma and I left her room. I was frustrated. I'm betrothed to the person I've always loved and then Evangeline becomes my sister-in-law. Ugh. Emma refuses to go anywhere with me without her silent stone clothing. We had to go to Bela's room which was on the other side of the royal wing. My dark raven colored hair refuses to stay in one place, my overly long bangs keep falling into my dark black eyes. As we walk Emma complains, "Why do we have to go get her, she probably wouldn't mind. Plus she's most likely still changing." I walk and ignore her whining. "Why did The king and Queen choose Evangeline to be the next Queen, did any of you argue? I mean it's no secret the hate that you and Bela hold for her and her cousin Iris, not that I blame you," I said in the most frustrated tone ever. "We did," Emma replied, "but father finds the house Samos a strong ally and mother was happy with the way it turned out." We were a room away from Bela's room and we saw Evangeline and Iris Samos on the verge of killing some poor red servant. I run to the scene and help the poor girl, who could not have been over the age of 14, up. "What the hell are you doing?" I shout at Iris and Evangeline, as my naturally dark tan skin turns into a dark shade of glittering silver. "This low undeserving red dared to bump into me!" growled Iris, "So I was going to have her pay with her insignificant life." I feel so furious that I just did it. I got into her little petty head and I went through her thoughts and memories. I showed her the time where she was trying to flirt with Jacob Iral and crashed into the wall. I twisted her feelings to make her feel like the poor red servant felt. By the time Emma got Bela from her room I had calmed myself. Evangeline and Iris left and the frightened red girl went on to finish up her work. "What did you see" asked Bela, her eyes a pinkish redish color out of excitement. I replied laughing, "Well as it turns out there had been this one time where she was flirting with Jacob Iral and then bumped into a wall." Bela and Emma went into hysterics. As we approached the banquet hall and as we adjusted ourselves into cold statues, Emma whispered, "I wear silent stone so I will never have to go through the humiliation of you, Tom, mother, and any other Merandus' insane whispers."

I'm Aya. I wrote this chapter thinking of some of my so called friends when I was younger. I based Iris and Evangeline on two of my childhood "friends". Those friends almost accidentally killed me
