Bela and I glance at each other with knowing looks. Yesterday, I might have out of instinct and wearily looked through Gareth Haven's head. This morning before breakfast I told Bela what I saw because it contained Evangeline's darkest secret. "Evangeline," I say quietly as we eat, "Bela and I know something that concerns you and your Haven friend." Her eyes widened, "and what is it," she said in an angry yet fearful whisper, where did Lady Blonos go wrong with her. Bela is better at concealing her emotions, but then again she has the hair and eye thing so... "What did you two hear?" Bela smirked and twirled her hair with confidence, "we found out that you and your friend, Elaine Haven, your well L-O-V-E-R-S," Bella finished. Evangeline was still in shock yet seemed to be regaining her confidence, "So you're blackmailing me, your future queen," she told us. "Well was it that obvious, and don't hold yourself so high," I say and Bela once again finishes, " If anyone were to know you would no longer be queen," Evangeline growls. "What do you want?" She asks us. "We will tell you later Eva," I state with full confidence, I have her where I want her. With that, we leave. "Aya, what do we want from her?" Bela asks. "So much, first she is the only one who can stop Iris' flittering," I reply. "That's all we will get from her, I mean I love that you will be doing this, but this just isn't your most fruitful scheme," Bela says in a disappointed voice. "Are you blind, she is going to be the next Queen. She will have control over us and the court, Cal is Cal. He will be fighting, not plotting. She will be in charge of the court. If we didn't have this information, she would be able to control us in any way she wishes. But with this she is our doll to play with, she does something we don't like we bring this up and the marriage will be void. See? This is for our own good," I tell her. We walk towards my room and we see the Queen, "Isabela, Aya, get ready for the Gala. Aya show me the dress you will wear and then I'll come and check with you Isabela," we both bow and Bela leaves. I show the Queen my dress, It's a knee length navy blue dress with loose transparent sleeves, it's loose and modest with navy, almost black, blue leggings, and white sparkling shoes. For jewellery, I will wear a blue set of bracelets and blue hoop earrings. "Very good, you and Tom are truly the pride of the Merandus," she says with a proud voice. "We are, after you, my queen," I reply shyly. "How will you do your hair?" She asks. "I'll leave it down and I won't add any makeup," I reply. She nods then sighs, probably because of my makeup problem, "Get ready, your mother will be joining us at the Gala." She leaves and I hold back a scream. She will be there, she will come to ruin my happiness.
