Quite honestly I felt weird. It wasn't like me to take charge, usually it was Cal. Though I was the eldest daughter my voice was never truly heard by many people. Honestly, people see me as the eldest daughter who is clumsy, a weird child. My abilities are rare considering there is no House Tyros in my bloodline. I mean there isn't really an explanation as to why I can change my hair and eye color. But to the people I'm the clumsy, weird, never going to get to the throne, daughter. So the fact I'm taking on such a leadership role is odd. We all walk onto the deck. I plaster a smile on my face, grab my betrothed's arm, and put on the ditzy eldest child act again. I lean into Jacob. It looks like we are going to kiss. "I've finally decided we shall be called diamond shard," I whisper. "Damn it I thought we were going to kiss," he complained in a fake whiney tone. "Spread the word and maybe you'll get your kiss," I said with a mischievous smile. He hurried off and started telling our small group that was scattered around the deck. "Ugh, you guys are too kissy kissy." I spun around to see Veronica. "What, I was telling him to spread our new name and don't play innocent I see you with Kai Macanthos," I retorted as her cheeks turned bright silver. "Fair point," She said. "I know this is weird but I enjoy leaving the summer palace and going to somewhere nice and quiet," I said as I stared at the river. "Makes sense but it's hard to get peace in Archeon," She laughed. "True," I responded. I stared at the river. "I'm back and I told everyone except Veronica," Jacob said. "Oh. it's ok I already told her," I replied. "So do I get that kiss now?" He asked hopefully. "Um no," I replied while laughing. I started to walk away when he grabbed my arm, twirled me then dipped me. "How about now?" He said as he got close to my face. "No," I replied with a smile. "Too bad," he said. "Wait wha-" he cut me off and kissed me and I kissed back. "Get a room!" Em yelled. I giggled I went back to where we had held our meeting. I had grabbed a book out of Jacob's pocket and started reading. It was a good book from his personal library. I read for the rest of the trip until Aya and Em told me that we were here. I went up to my room immediately. I took a shower then dried and curled my hair. Em and Aya walked in. "Wow, thanks for knocking," I said, my voice dripping with sarcasm. They ignored what I said. Aya asked "For the love of Christ why are you in your bathrobe and curling your hair at midnight?" "Because when I wake up my hair is wavy," I replied as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. They both shook their heads. I went to my changing area and started to put on my pink shirt and purple sweatpants. "Why is your hair pink and your eyes gold?" Em asked. "I actually don't know," I replied. "Sometimes my hair and eye color change quickly for no real reason," I said as I pulled on white socks. "So why are you guys here?" I asked as I picked up Flame and my yellow teddy bear. "We think you should know that we saw Iris kissing Jacob. Aya said gently. "What?" I could not believe what I was hearing. "Are you ok?" Em asked. I snapped out of my daze. "What? Yeah... I'm fine." I said. I lied through my teeth. "Ok, just tell us if you need us," Aya said. "Guys I'm fine," I said as I pushed them out of the room. Once they were out of the room. I laid down on my bed and fell into a fitful sleep.

Wow, good job at fabricating drama that is basically forgotten in three chapter Bela. Granted this was written a while ago and we have certainly grown in terms of skill.
