I woke up and looked at my night stand. There was a note sitting there. All classes a canceled, huh. And won't start till after the Gala. I sighed and got ready. Breakfast was to be served in 20 minutes, I have to have breakfast with the royal family and their betrothed. I got ready. I wore long black leggings, and a blue and gray shirt, I wore a blue ribbon to hold back my bangs and went to Emma's room. "Emma, Emma. We have to get going," I pressed my ear to the door. No answer, "Emma, you have 3 seconds to open the door or I'm coming in." I heard walking to the door. "Aya, calm down, I was changing," she looked tired. She was wearing a red skirt with a black top. Her red headband with the silent stone was left on her nightstand, seemingly forgotten. "Sorry for overreacting, let's go get Bela." We left her door way and went to Bela's room. As we reached her room, she came out wearing a short blue skirt and a blue tee shirt, a blue cardigan, purple earrings, a silver wolf necklace, blue flats, and a blue mini backpack. Her eyes were a dark and bright her hair was light blue. As we walked both Emma and I told Bela about the Cal conversations. As we talked her gentle black eyes turned into a sad blue. We reached the dining room and sat across our betrothed. We ate quietly, sitting next to Tom was awkward, I felt sad because the only reason he apologized was Emma. As the last plates were being picked up, the Queen stood up, "While you have no classes, this being an important Gala, you will all be taking dance classes with each other. Your partner, naturally, will be your betrothed." She stated in her commanding voice. "Your highness, Cal, Maven, Jacob, and I all know how to dance. I understand why you would make Isabela, Aya, Tom, and Emalyn take the dance lesson. Due to Isabela's balance problems and the rest being their first Gala, Bela's face had an offended look when she Elara mentioned her clumsiness. why do we have to go to these overrated lessons" Evangeline protested. "I can dance better than you any day" Bela yelled at Evangeline. "Aunt Elara," Tom called Elara aunt when it was the royal family, being that she was our mother's stepsister, "We took dance lessons a while back and we still know how to dance." "Plus we also taught Aya how to dance after she got better," Maven added. My Aunt sighed, "No matter, you all are the new royal family, you all have to be the best at everything so you will do as I say. Go pack, be at the training room in two hours for the lessons." We were dismissed. I packed everything with little help from the Reds. I was done in 1 hour 55 minutes, giving me enough time to go to the training room. Bela, Emma, and I agreed to meet at the training room. I walked through the hallway and I saw Iris and Evangeline talking quietly, "....win him... that princess witch stole... me" I heard Iris say. She is talking about Bela and Jacob. "....Chance at ... Gala... become his mistress," replied Evangeline. She wants Jacob to cheat on Bela. I ran to the training room so I won't be caught. I was two minutes early. I stood next to Maven who was already there. I told him about what I heard. "Don't worry. Jacob is loyal and would never do that. But we have to do something about those two," Maven whispered. An Iral instructor came in. She instructed us on what to do as she played the music. As we danced, Maven and I talked. I looked at Emma and Tom who were both deeply blushing. "Maven, about the Iris and Jacob thing, we will discuss it on the trip. Look at Emma and Tom," I told him, he looked at them and tried to hold back a laugh. They both looked very awkward and embarrassed. We finished class within an hour. "You all did great, though Cal and Evangeline try to look less disgusted with each other, Isabela and Jacob stop getting distracted, Maven and Aya need to talk less, and Tom and Emalyn, try to loosen up a bit. You may leave now," said the Iral. With that, we all walked out of the room.
