(Kade's POV)
I wake up in Rose's bedroom. I looked around scared out of my mind or confused I don't know which. Rose rushed in looking down at me with a worried look on her face. "Oh thank god you're ok!" She hugs me tightly. I weakly hug her back.
"Rose,..rose," I pull back looking up at her, "did you see anyone? When you found me?" She looks at me confused. "No you were just laying in the middle of the woods alone," she leans back with a hostile look on her face, "did someone do that to you?" I grab her wrist shaking my head. "No! no!" I wince in pain as I try to lean up, "I just." I look at her and I sigh.
If I tell her now with no proof she'll think I'm crazy.
"Nothing I just thought I saw someone." I smile, "sorry I guess I'm just tired." She squints her eyes at me. I guess she could sense I was lying. But she nods and a smile appears on her face, "then get some rest ,darlin." She gets up ,and walks out the door.
I wait until i hear her footsteps disappear ,to get up. I wince in pain taking a deep breath. I mutter to myself, "I need to get up." I slowly raise to my feet ,grabbing the wall to steady myself. I hold my side walking to the door. As i pit my hand on the knob ,opening it I look up seeing Blaze standing there.
His face was messy ,and his hair was in a mess. His shirt was ripped ,and dirt was smeared all over his clothes. He stares at me his eyes tearing. "Kade," he whispers. "I'm sorry I promise I was not going to go anywhere with that girl." He takes my hands in his. But I jerk away.
"Get out ,Blaze!" I feel all the emotions come back and my eyes watered. "Do you know what I am dealing with! My mother is a drunk! And I just move here some how I find my mate?!" I was enraged, "and he hurts me with a whore at school!" I had been threw enough of this betrayal in my life.
"I'm not leaving ,Kade!" His face was still the same soft and caring nature it had been even though he screamed at me. I sniffle meeting his eyes again.
"Well I am." I look at him dead in the eyes, "I'm going back to my pack."
