Visions & Flashbacks PT 2/3

(Kade's POV)

I dart back into the medical cabin, and I grab Blaze's car keys ,then I run back out to his car. I didn't wanna risk him waking up so I just wanted to leave as fast as possible. I open the door getting in ,than I start the car ,and i look at the directions ,to the address, I printed off when I was still in the library.

I start to pack a bag ,putting water ,and anything else I'll need in it. The directions say that I have to drive up the mountain side until I see a dirt path. Then I have to walk threw the woods on the path to get there.

So I don't know how long I'll be out there ,anything could happen. I put the bag in the passengers seat ,and I start to drive on the road.  The landscape was nothing but a thick layer of trees. I was traveling up a mountain side so it was a sheer drop to the bottom. It looked so isolated out here ,when you can't see anything not even a house or skyscraper. You can only see an occasional cabin or smoke signal from the other mountains around this one.

After about 20 minutes I see the dirt road to get to the church. I pull over onto the side ,and I get out with my bag. I sling it over my shoulders ,and I lock the car. I take deep breath threw my nose to calm my nerves.

I take a look around and I could see nothing but trees. The dirt road was very faint, but I could still see where I was going. The sun was barely up ,so it gave the whole trail a weird feeling.

I walk along the dirt road at a quick pace. The walk wasn't supposed to be that long ,but I felt the whole time as if someone was watching me. I could smell someone's scent ,but I thought it was just me over reacting. After 40 minutes I see the church in the distance ,then suddenly drop to my knees.

My head throbs as I see a flashback. My eyes close ,but when they open it was a different place almost.

The forest was a lush green. The trail as visible ,and it was pure stone. I was holding someones hand ,and I look up at the person. My dad was longing down at me.

"Kadie..I know we haven't came here in a while," he says ,a grim look on his face. "I want you to stay here for daddy," he whispers kneeling down to my level.

I nod slowly ,and he kisses my forehead.

"Okay stay here don't move," he jogs up to the church door ,and he does something to it. It opens ,and he walks inside. I stand there for a little bit ,but me being a little girl , I run up to the door.

I couldn't open it from my side ,so I climb up to the window. As I peer in I see my dad ,and a young women talking. I listen in with my wolf hearing to the conversation. "Quinn, we can't see each other anymore," my dad says, "I have to think about my pack."

"You can't leave me what about them?" She pleads. But my dad just turns his back from her ,walking towards the door.

"I don't want to see you anywhere near them. If I do I will kill you," my dad spoke is such a ton it scared me. The bell starts to ring. Then the flashback ends.

I wake in front of the church. I run up to the door ,and I look around for a way to open it. I look at the windows ,and I kneel down picking up the glass like I did in my dream. I hold onto it as I stand up. The time was almost 6 am. The bell would ring soon ,so I wait.

As soon as it rings ,about 17 minutes later, I cut my hand like I had in my dream. The stones start to crumble off the side of the building as the bell rings. The door doesn't open though. I remember in the flash back that my dad touched the door so I do the same.

I put my hand on the symbol. Then I pull my hand away my blood staying there for a quick second then it sinks in. The symbol shines a bright white light ,and it opens. I stare into the dark empty church. I have to go in. I have too.

So I muster up the last bit of my courage ,and I walk inside.
