Weeks From Home

(Kade's POV)

It's been two weeks sense we left Troy and Rose's house. It's been a week sense I saw my mother in that church. I haven't had an episode sense the church where I fainted.

Alpha Micheal is up and walking around again. Blaze and I have been staying in the pack house sense we got here. Everyone has been so kind to us.

I haven't seen my mother. She left back at the hospital ,and never came back.

It's my birthday in two weeks ,and I haven't told Blaze because he'd make a big deal out of it. I don't normally do anything for my birthday anyways so I'll treat it like any normal day.

Me and Blaze have grown closer. He talks about one thing then I add into it. He makes me laugh I make him laugh. He's so caring every time I turn around he's doing something sweet.

"Kade!" Blaze shouts as he walks into the kitchen where I am.

"Yea I'm in here!" I turn around ,and he leans against the countertop over me.

I smile looking up into his crystal blue eyes. They sparkle as he looked at me a smile cutting across his chiseled face.

"So I was thinking maybe me and you can go on a picnic today," he smiles biting his lip.

"Oh yea? And how am i supposed to get off work duty?" I say teasingly.

"I already asked they let you off. And you can't say no. So go upstairs change into something beautiful ,and meet me in my truck," he backs away from me his eyes not leaving mine.

I wait until he shuts the door ,and I smile.

"So this is how it's gonna be," I walk up stairs giggling like a little girl.

So what am I gonna wear? I look around in my closet ,and I sigh.

If Rose was here she could help me pick.

I pull out some shorts ,and a short sleeve shirt. The shorts were stone washed color ,and the shirt was a pretty teal. I put on the locket ,and some white converse I found.

I braid my hair putting it in a lose hair tie. My bangs fall on one side of my face. I look into the mirror with a sigh.

I look down at my arms ,and I see the faint scars.

'Unmarked stories leave deep wounds that mark it for them' they said, but what if everyone knew and no one did a thing to keep you from marking your story threw every chapter?
