Nandini and Tanushree were sitting on one of the benches in the garden of their college with sandwiches in their hands. After their rant about how boring the lectures were and how pissed the professor was, Tanu turned her attention towards Nandini.

'So, how's Mr. Malhotra?'

A small smile appeared on Nandini's face when she heard his name.

'Great.'

'Hmmm.' Tanu nodded digging back in her sandwich.

Even though Manik and Nandini were together for almost a month now, Tanu was still looking out for her. She still hadn't forgiven Manik for disappearing for three days after that night, but Nandini knew she was just protective of her.

Tanu somewhere was guilty for pushing Nandini to accept her feelings for Manik, which wasn't entirely true. But Nandini knew no matter what she said, her friend was not the one to believe so easily. That meant, even though they were together, Tanu was going to keep an eye on Manik, knowing he has the power to hurt Nandini more than anyone else.

On the other hand, things between Manik and Nandini were wonderful. They were now comfortable with each other just like before. It wasn't much of a difference when they were friends for which Nandini was glad. Nothing turned awkward.

They both had decided to take things slow and it was working very well. She didn't know why Manik was against relationships before. He was such a charmer. No girl would ever complain about him for anything. Yes, he was possessive. That was one point Nandini disliked at first. But then she understood he was more protective then possessive. And somewhere along the line, she knew she trusted him, a lot.

Ofcource they would have arguments time to time on silliest things on earth, but then it was nothing which couldn't be solved. She couldn't think when was she happy like this in a long time. Manik was just....great.

'Hey.' She heard his voice coming from her side as Manik sat next to her and placed a small kiss on her forehead.

'Miss me?' He asked winking.

She smiled at him and before she could reply, her best friend interrupted them.

'Shaitan ka naam lia aur shaitan hazir.'

'Are waah, tumlog mere baare me baat kar rahe the? Mere irresistible charm ke baare me ya meri dashing body ke baare me?' He asked with a smirk and took a bite from Nandini's sandwich.

'Manik, tum na-' Nandini started but was cut off by Manik.

'Bohot charming hu? Handsome hu? Irresistible hu? Bolo ??'

'Idiot ho.' Tanu muttered with a sweet smile.

He sighed.

'You know Tanu, I thought we were okay now, because we are sharing one thing which is precious to both of us.' He said looking towards Nandini.

'But no problem, I will be waiting for the day when you accept us wholeheartedly.' He said eyeing Tanu sincerely.

'I'll be waiting too.' Tanu replied.

This was another amazing thing about Manik. He knew Tanu didn't trust him entirely and he understood her. He knew she had no bad intentions for them. She was just looking out for her friend. She didn't have anything personal against him. And he was happy that Nandini had another person looking out for her. So instead of taking it as an offence, Manik was fond of their friendship. And Nandini loved him for that.
