The month flew by so quickly. One moment Sabrina was walking across the stage to get her diploma and the next she was packing up her room to leave.
It was her last day in Florida and up until this moment she wasn't having any second thoughts about moving. Letting her mind wander into the what ifs and could bes were making her question whether moving really was the right choice. Moving was all she'd done her entire life with her family. Was it really a good idea to move hours away from a place she finally was able to call home?
She was snapped out of her thoughts when she received a message.

The past month had been awkward, to say the least. She hung out with Zane and Heath but thing weren't like they used to be. They talked and laughed but on the inside Sabrina's mind kept wandering to that night at prom and how despite what Heath had put her through, her heart still fluttered when he made her smile.
Cleaning her room, helped her clear her mind a bit though. Things were going to work out. She would be in a new city, meet new people, have new experiences, and make new memories. She was trying to stay optimistic.
The time passed so quickly, it was morning and her dad was knocking at her door. Soon they were loading up the moving truck, preparing themselves for a 19 hour drive.
"SABRINA," someone yelled out of nowhere
Sabrina turned around to see Zane running down the block yelling her name.
"For god's sake," Sabrina's mother scoffed as she made her way inside the house before Zane could reach them.
"Good morning, Mrs. Elliot!" Zane yelled from outside just as she walked through the door.
"Zane, it's 8am. Where is this energy coming from?" Sabrina questioned picking up another box and sliding it into the truck.
Zane took it upon himself to help too.
"I haven't slept," He giggled. "Heath and I watched movies, then we started watching old Britney Spears videos, then that lead to N'sync and Backstreet Boys videos. Basically, we went through a time capsule and the sun just so happened to come out. So I decided to come say hi and bye," he said almost running out of breath.
Sabrina laughed wishing she had been there singing along with them, because she's so sure they did. But then she wondered if Zane told Heath he was coming over to say bye.
But there was no mention of Heath. Neither did Sabrina bother to ask. The endless hugs Zane gave her made her shed a few tears but they promised they would stay in contact no matter what and video chat every chance they could. He promised to fly out to New York, "Soon as I'm not broke."
An hour later she was off as her dad drove up the east coast. This trip would most likely give her too much time to think so she used it to her advantage and wrote it all out. She did some writing, some reading, some sleeping but the hours felt endless. Finally they stopped somewhere in South Carolina to spend the night and would continue the rest of the trip the next day. By Sunday night, they finally arrived to the big city with the tall buildings. Sabrina couldn't believe they had finally arrived to the place she would call home for the next four years.
Sabrina felt nervous knowing that the next day she would be moving into her dorm and meeting her new roommate. It was exciting finally becoming independent from her parents and knowing she would gain new experiences. But in the back of her mind lingered the thought of two boys she would have to get used to living without. And maybe it was for the best, no matter how much she would miss them.
