| Sabrina POV |

Everything that had happened this weekend was too much to take in. From Ken proposing to Heath drunkenly slamming the door on her, Sabrina was mentally exhausted and all she wanted to do was cry. Obviously that wouldn't solve anything.

She apologized to Ken and her parents for Heath's actions knowing it wasn't her fault. But something tugged at her concious remembering the way Heath congratulated her on her engagement. She couldn't put a finger on it but it almost made her feel guilty.

Sabrina attempted to brush off her thoughts and instead prepared the guest bedroom in her parents home for the arrival of Lexie, her best friend. She hadn't seen her all summer but they spoke and texted all the time. Lexie was updated on all the drama, including Ken's proposal. It would be nice to finally have her around.

As Sabrina made the bed in the room, Ken walked in holding two mugs of coffee.

"Here," he said handing one to her.

Sabrina took a sip of the sour coffee. "Mmm, thank you," she said failing to mention she liked her coffee with sugar unlike Ken. She set it on the nightstand.

"What time is Lexie getting in?" Ken asked her as he took a seat on the couch facing the bed.

"She should land by 7:45" Sabrina struggled with the edges of the bed spread.

"Cool, we can grab dinner afterwards," he suggested

Sabrina lightly nodded her head, frustrated with the sheets and this damn bed.

"Have you thought about when you want to get married?" Ken blurted out.

"What?" Sabrina was surprised with his question.

Ken stood up, placing his mug on the drawer next to the small couch. He walked over to Sabrina wrapping his arms around her waist from behind.

"Let's get married next month," he whispered into her ear as he lightly kissed the back of her neck.

"Ken," she turned around in his arms to face him, "we can't get married next month" she said wrapping her arms around his neck.

"Why not? Yes we can babe," he was trying to convince her.

"You're not even going to be here after next month. We don't live together and I start my internship in two weeks. It's too much to handle in so little time," she held his face in her hands.

"We can get a wedding planner. The best in the city and all you have to do is be a beautiful bride," Ken spoke into her lips then planted one of those kisses that made Sabrina's thoughts fly away.

That's all it took for Sabrina to agree to a wedding within the next month. Of course, her mother was over the roof and as tentative as her father seemed he exuded excitement. Sabrina wasn't sure how to feel. She'd agreed regardless of her mind telling her it wasn't the right time. But maybe it could be.

Later that evening, Ken and Sabrina picked up Lexie at the airport. She came out waving and nearly tackled Sabrina when she saw her.

"S, I've missed you so much!" Lexie practically shouted.

"Oh, I've missed you so much too. You have no idea Lex," Sabrina hugged Lexie as tight as she could.

"Hey, Ken," Lexie patted his shoulder as she got into the back seat of the car.

"Hey, Lexie. How you liking this weather?"

"Definitely warmer than Connecticut, I can't wait to hit the beach."
