Since the night they went out to Miami, Ken and Sabrina had been seeing Heath and Zane almost every weekend. Ken hadn't brought up any part of the conversation they had that night about Zane and Heath not being the friend's Ken expected Sabrina to have. Sabrina didn't bring it up either, not wanting to start any arguments.
Things seemed to have shifted the night after they celebrated Sabrina's birthday. Zane showed up at dinner alone, more joyful than usual, hugging Sabrina practically picking her up. He showered her in compliments and best wishes, earning a couple of side eyes from Ken. Sabrina pretended not to notice and enjoy it.
Later on though, Heath arrived accompanied by a blonde, thinner version of Sabrina. "What's up baby?" he greeted Zane not letting go of the blonde's hand.
"Sab!" He practically shouted when he reached Sabrina finally releasing himself from his date. "Happy birthday, baby!" he hugged her a little tighter than needed.
"Thanks,-" Sabrina had to stop herself from almost calling him 'baby.' "Heath." She half smiled.
"Oh, this is Donna, she's uh," he shot his eyebrows up, "a friend."
"Hi, nice to meet you," Donna stepped forward to hug Sabrina and kiss her cheek.
"Oh, thanks Donna," Sabrina felt uncomfortable having this stranger at her birthday dinner.
But she paid no mind to it for the rest of the night. She focused on the fact that her closest friends were all here, except Lexie but it wouldn't be long until she joined her in the upcoming weeks.
Ken kissed and hugged Sabrina all night making her feel like a queen. He gifted her favorite Prada perfume and a new Tory Burch wallet and purse set. Zane bought her the collection of "Grey's Anatomy" seasons because he knew how obsessed she had become with it during college. There was no gift from Heath that night, but his presence was enough although a bit occupied.
After dinner they headed to a lounge where the rest of the night became a blur. Through drunken vision, Sabrina remembers looking over Ken's shoulder at Heath holding Donna by the waist as she grinded on him with her hands up around his neck. Sabrina wanted to be that sexy and she felt her body trying but was unsure whether it was coming out right because of how drunk she was. She didn't care, she wanted to feel sexier than Donna in this moment. But then she blacked out.
Zane
Z: BABY!
Z: You were wild last night!
Z: Hope that hang over is treating you well. Love you sab!
Heath
H: Yo, just checking to see you got home safe
H: Had a good time, thanks for the invite
Sabrina was definitely paying for the wild night this afternoon. She wished she could remember more of the night so she asked Ken.
"Sabrina, I don't know if I should be ashamed or turned on," Ken chuckled.
Sabrina just covered her face with her hands, embarrassed. "What did I do? Never mind don't tell me," she threw herself back on the bed as Ken sat up against the backboard of the bed.
Ken pulled her closer to him so Sabrina rested on his chest. "You were fine, babe. It was your birthday and you were just having a good time. My favorite part was when you danced on the bar though, that was hot."
And from that weekend forward, that's practically how it went. Ken would call up a couple of his friends, Sabrina would invite Zane and Heath and the rest was too much of a blur to remember. Except for the fact that each time Heath would bring a new girl along. After Donna it was Clara, then Beatrice, the next weekend it was Strawberry, yes he spent the night with a girl named Strawberry.
