Kiss

Luke fixed his jacket in the mirror before going for the door.

"Where are you off to?" Michael asked  walking in to the room.

"Got a date with Alex." Luke answered.

"I know you said you didn't have feelings for Ashton but-"

"We had this conversation already Michael. I like Alex. I was never romantically interested in Ashton. We're just friends." Luke interrupted before walking out.

Luke hadn't actually seen Ashton since Kellins party but they had talked a lot. Tonight he and Alex were suppose to be meeting up with Jack and Ashton for a double date.

Ashton sat nervously next to Jack. They were meeting Luke and Alex at Avery Garden. They were planning on doing a wine tasting at the nearby winery.

"Are you okay? You've been really quiet." Ashton pointed out. He almost felt bad for suggesting a double date. Jack had insisted it would be weird but Alex loved the idea.

"Yeah, just ready to get this night over with." Jack sighed pinching the bridge of his nose.

"I don't get why you're dreading it so much." Ashton huffed. He did know he just wanted Jack to admit it.

"I just don't do double dates, it's awkward and I don't even know Luke." Jack shrugged.

"Jack, Ashton." Alex's voice spoke excitedly from behind them.

"Hey." Ashton smiled before pulling Luke into a hug as Alex did the same to Jack.

"I'm so excited. I've always wanted to go wine tasting." Alex grinned.

"That's why I picked it." Jack said almost sadly.

Ashton noticed Alex's discomfort, which caused him to grab Luke's hand.

Ashton frowned slightly at the smile Luke gave Alex.

"Come on." Jack said dragging his eyes away from Alex and Luke. He put his arm around Ashton causing Ashton to sigh.

Jack was only being affectionate cause Alex was there.

Luke giggled as Alex made a sour face at the wine in his glass.

"This stuff is awful."

"It is pretty tarte." Luke agreed. 

They had been tasting wines for almost an hour and were all a bit tipsy.

Luke couldn't help but notice how Jack was all over Ashton. He felt like his chest was being crushed slowly as he watched Ashton swoon over it.

"He always gets like this when he's been drinking. He's never like this towards Ashton sober." Alex whispered in Luke's ear.

"What? Why?" Luke frowned.

"I think he's afraid to fall in love with Ashton so he keeps him at a distance." Alex shrugged.

"Why would he be afraid to fall in love with Ashton?" Luke asked curiously.

"Jack's just funny like that." Alex shrugged.

Before Luke could press Ashton spoke up.

"Bathroom break for me. Luke, you coming?" Ashton asked.

Luke nodded.

"Sure."

Before they reached the bathroom Ashton yanked Luke out the side door before pressing him against the building. Suddenly Ashton's lips were crashing down on Luke's.

Luke moaned into the kiss. It was needy, rushed, and honestly a bit sloppy but he loved it.

Finally he pushed Ashton back.

"Whoa, easy there, our boyfriends are inside." Luke said breathlessly.

"So?" Ashton shrugged going in for another kiss but Luke stopped him.

"Alex has been loyal to me, I don't want to risk hurting him." Luke explained.

"What? You're kidding right?" Ashton asked frowning.

Luke shook his head.

"You're the one who said we could kiss anytime you wanted." Ashton huffed.

"Anytime, I wanted. Not you, I." Luke emphasized.

"So what you don't want to kiss me?" Ashton frowned.

"I always want to kiss you Ashton." Luke smiled.

"But not at Alex's expense."

"This is ridiculous." Ashton scoffed.

"Hey, this was all your idea." Luke reminded him.

"I didn't know you were gonna be such a good boyfriend to him." Ashton pouted.

"You'd know that if you'd break up with Jack instead of playing this game." Luke taunted.

"You're playing along." Ashton pointed out.

"So that I can be with you. That should prove I'd do anything for you." Luke answered.

"Everything except cheat on Alex." Ashton pouted again.

"Sorry I'm not Jack." Luke sneered before walking back inside.

Ashton stood in shock. He couldn't believe Luke was being that way.

Luke sat down next to Alex shortly followed by Ashton. Luke felt bad being so harsh with Ashton but he didn't want to hurt Alex anymore than he had to. It wasn't his fault Jack wouldn't break up with Ashton.

"Oh, babe, try this one." Alex said holding a glass to Luke's lips.

He felt Ashton's glare as he took a sip of the wine.

"Mmm, that's good." Luke licked his lips.

"It reminds me of you." Luke smirked.

"Oh yeah, why's that?" Alex asked.

Luke was being extra flirty. He leaned in to Alex's lips.

"Cause it was a bit sweet." Luke licked Alex's lower lip.

"And it's got a bit of a bite." Luke then bit down gently on Alex's bottom lip.

Alex grabbed Luke pulling him into a deep kiss and for a second Luke forgot about Ashton said Jack.
