Once my revenge was through, Ishizu motioned for us to follow her. "It is time to test the Pharaoh's strength."

"Test my strength?" Atem asked.

"The Ceremonial Battle was a test of Yugi's strength. Now that your faith has brought you back to the world of the living, the time has came to reverse the process."

Atem froze. "Reverse the process? That would mean I have to--..."

I smirked. "Something tells me I'm gonna love where this is going!"

Ishizu led us to a park nearby. There were a lot of street performers there, one of which would leave Hoopa asking, "Were you surprised?"

"I knew it! I should've put money on it!" Atem shouted in frustration.

I watched in awe, completely lost in thought. "Looks like a cool drink of water, but he's candy-coated misery!"

Slightly faded out of my daze, I elbowed Atem's rib. "Ya know, he's singing this about you, pal."

"He's the devil in disguise, a snake with violet eyes and he only comes out at night~! Gives you feelings that you don't wanna fight, you better run for your life!"

His jaw dropped. "Good luck~." I mewed.

"D-do we have to do this? I could Duel Kaiba instead."

"Oh come on, that'd be too easy for you."

"But, does it have to be Yugi?"

"Don't tell me you're scared."

"Me? Scared? No way! Not of my former vessel!"

"Then stop being a little Ra-knows-what and go over there and give him a fight!"

I shoved Atem over toward Yugi and completely threw him under the bus. "Still don't think I can handle myself?" Yugi graciously accepted.

My heart was nearly pounding out of my chest. "Let it begin, let it begin, LET IT BEGIN!"

"Duel!"

Yugi started things off with Silver Gadget and set Metalhold, the Moving Blockade. Very similarly to how he opened with Green Gadget and setting Stronghold, the Moving Fortress in the final episode. I knew I was gonna love where this was going!

Atem first summoned Feral Imp, then discarded Wattkid from his hand to Special Summon the Tricky. Proceeding to his Battle Phase, Feral Imp destroyed Silver Gadget.

Yugi, now having 3900 Life Points, Dimension Summons Dark Magician. Dimension Summon? But how? He's not supposed to be able to. He sets Mystic Textbook and destroys Feral Imp with Dark Magician.

Atem is now left with 2800 Life Points. The slightest thought of a second loss to Yugi enrages him. "I refuse to lose!" he shouts. "I still believe in my cards, I draw!" Making every desperate move possible, he tributes Tricky to summon Dark Magician Girl. Setting Raging Eria and Rebellion, he ends his turn.

Yugi summons Gold Gadget and has it attack Atem's face-down monster. Rather than let Raging Eria show herself, Atem activates Rebellion, leaving Yugi with 2700 Life Points.

Atem Flip Summons Raging Eria, leaving her in Defense Mode, and can do nothing more. "That's the end... of my turn..."

Yugi again somehow Dimension Summons, proving his hormones just got a late start. Apple Magician Girl! She attacks Raging Eria, destroying it.

Atem has one last chance to pull through. "I refuse to lose! Ore no tan! I still believe in my cards, doro!" Going strait from Draw to Battle Phase, Dark Magician Girl attacks Apple Magician Girl. "Dark Burning Attack!"

But Yugi pulls out his winning moves once again. "I activate Mystic Textbook!" Actually having cards in his hand to discard this time, he draws and plays Card of Sanctity. The same moves as in The Final Duel!

Yugi began the last turn of the Duel with his signature monster, Silent Magician! Activating her effect, her attack rises to 3500. I know how this ends!

But before that happens, Apple Magician Girl's Attack Points are raised by 500 after Yugi equipped her with Baou. She destroys Dark Magician Girl, and I couldn't help but say it with him. "Alright, Silent Magician, attack his Life Points directly!"

It took every fiber of my being not to squeal. The Final Duel is my favorite episode!

Amidst my mixed emotions, I heard Ishizu sigh. "It seems that the Pharaoh still has a lot to learn." she said. "Both about Dueling, and about his newer self..."
