After that little... experience, we parted ways with Joey- who ran right back to the PvP Arena- and kept on walking, acting like it never happened. "About that, though." Atem began. "Maybe Ishizu can explain."

I turned to him doubtingly. "You sure?"

"Trust me. If I can't, I bet she can." he replied.

I thought back to the notification I received about the event that brought me here. "As you fight to claim the title of Duel World King, how you fight will glorify the King of Kings. You are the Resistance."

"Well, maybe it has to do with the whole 'Resistance' thing." I said. I looked down at my necklace. Or, maybe I have a ninth Millennium Item...

I had a hunch that Ishizu would be at the museum, and sure enough, I was right. Too right, almost. She said that she was waiting for us. "I saw your Duel with Kaiba, I can explain everything."

"Well, start talking." I can't wait to find out what I'm made to do! "Was that a Mind Crush I did at the end?"

She nodded. "It was indeed a Penalty Game. That necklace you have," she gestured to the diamond-studded, silver plated Christian cross charm hanging from my neck. "it once belonged to an Egyptian Priestess."

My eyes widened. "A Christian cross necklace? I don't think so."

"It's true. Her name was Adia, and she was a Hebrew slave during Atem's reign."

Atem looked like he just saw a demon. Could it be? A part of his memory that wasn't recovered in the Shadow RPG?

I crossed my arms. Remembering the bedroom incident from when we first met, I asked, "Tell me Atem, was she a sex slave?"

My question only baffled him more. "I don't remember even having a concubine! Let alone forcing a Hebrew girl to be one!"

"As I was saying," Ishizu continued, "she was freed under Seto's rule and made Priestess."

"But, how did she get the necklace?" I asked.

"It was given to her by an angel."

I could sense that Rose was getting jittery. "Yup! I'm the same Guardian Angel that's been watching over every form of you since the beginning!" she squealed.

"Well, it's good to know I had such a loyal Seraph looking out for me in Egypt." I responded.

Rose sat on my shoulder as Ishizu went on. "Adia used the necklace's power to communicate with souls in the Afterlife."

I took this the wrong way and made another autistic move. "Which means I control you! Rose, why didn't you tell me all this sooner?!"

"You never asked." she joked.

I pulled out my phone, turned the camera on, pointed it at Atem, and hit record. "Hop on one foot and do the chicken dance!" I demanded. My necklace began to glow and-- I was right! Atem obeyed me without hesitation.

However, Ishizu did not seem amused. "This power was originally used by the Priestess to prophecy to the spirits, but..." she cut herself off, at a loss for words.

"This is so going on the internet." I thought aloud.
