There's a lot Ishizu didn't answer. Luckily, I knew just where to find her. "I thought you'd show." she said. Pretty creepy. It's either she lives here or she got the Millennium Necklace back.
"Well, let's get down to it." I replied. "About my necklace, I meant to ask you last we spoke. Is it a ninth Millennium Item?"
She shook her head. "The Miracle Pendant was made to counter the dark magic of the Millennium Items."
"So that's what this is." I thought aloud, looking down at my necklace. "What about the Egyptian gods? How exactly are we supposed to deal with them?" Confoundit, I should have asked about the Mary-Sue thing!
"That is why I was expecting you." she continued. "I thought I'd test your strategic ability."
I gulped. "Go on..."
"Odion is another member of the Resistance, he's standing by with a hologram of Osiris. Don't worry, it's not nearly as dangerous. Let's say your team is planning a frontal attack on Osiris. How do you do it?"
If this works, we'll know all their moves. I focus hard and my necklace starts glowing. "Who dares to disrupt my slumber?" the hologram scowled within my head.
It worked! "Ah, Osiris, perfect."
"You?!"
"Your little friend's here "visiting", but he's not feeling well. Why don't you come by my office and pick him up?"
"What have you done with Bakura?!"
Ishizu chuckled. "Clever. Now what?"
"Well, since we don't really have Bakura, I'd tie Atem to the wing of the jet and lure Slifer into a trap. Tell him if he catches Atem, he gets him and Bakura."
She smirked. "An eye for an eye. I'll contact your team and we'll see if your idea works."
Within ten minutes, the guys arrived in the jet at the museum's entrance with Atem already attached to one of the wings. The cockpit door opened. "Get in." my brother sneered.
I did as I was told and the plane took off. "At least take this thing off auto-pilot." I told him with a sigh.
Seto growled. "Fine. Fire it up, girl." he said into the mic in his collar.
Joey and I snickered. Did he just call Ishizu "girl"? "I ship it." Joey whispered.
From behind us, the hologram activated. It had a storm brewing, and it was chasing us! After five minutes, I swore we were lost, but my gut's telling me Mokuba has the trap set.
"It's hopeless, give him up!"
I leaned into the intercom. "We will, if you manage to catch Atem! You'll get him, too!"
"WHAT?! Kaiba, you said this was payback!" Atem screamed.
"Yeah, I lied about that." Seto replied through the intercom. "I knew you'd go back if I told you we were using you as bait for Slifer."
After another hour of arguing, it went quiet. Other than Atem still yelling; this time, at Slifer.
"You'll never have me again! Come on! Is this the best you got? It's time for a showdown, you and me! I'm right here, just try and get me! You'll never see this through! --? Are you even listening to me?! Are you even paying attention to your own rebellious son, Osiris?! Father?! Dad?! Do I have to call you Daddy?! Is that it?!" All of that and no response. It just kept flying, albeit slower than before.
"Is it asleep?" Atem asked. "HOW IS IT STILL FLYING?!"
Joey peered out the window to be sure. "Ay yo Moneybags~! We got ourselves a nodder."
The boys chuckled as Seto turned the radio on. Finally, something to chill things out! Or so I thought. When the music came on, it was smooth jazz. I sighed in frustration. "Really?! Really you guys?!"
Joey and Seto continued to laugh as Atem hung his head and sighed. "Jehovah, Jehovah, למה נטשת אותי!" which is Hebrew for, "Father, Father, why have you abandoned me!" It's funny Atem said that, because right then, God showed up.
SPLASH! The hologram fell strait down into the water! The test was over, we passed!
The storm cleared, so I could see outside the window. We were right above the ocean, not far from KaibaLand. I facepalmed. "Note to self, never take the jet." I thought aloud.
Next thing I knew, we were at the museum. "May I come down now?" Atem asked.
Seto's POV
I unhooked Atem from the wing as Ishizu walked out. "Any other questions?"
"Yes." Atem went on. "That summoning technique Yugi used in our Duel, Lillyan called it Dimension Summoning. She said it was a summoning method associated with a power called the Plana, but that when I returned to save Yugi, the power was sealed away. So how could he have used it?"
"It's simple." Ishizu answered. "When your faith brought you back to stay, the Plana was given to members of the Resistance."
That got me thinking. If I'm in the Resistance, then I have the Plana. Could this be how I take down Yugi Muto and regain my top Dueling status? Let's go!
Ishizu glared at me. "I said, members." she sneered.
I blushed. My cover has been blown. Repeat, my cover has been blown!
Lillyan's POV
I thought for a moment. Do I have the Plana? No, I have a necklace that gives me control over an ancient king, that'd definitely make me a Mary-Sue.
"Wait, what about Adia?" I asked. I reached into my bag and pulled out a copy of Yu-Gi-Oh! Millennium World: Volume 7. "Last we spoke, Atem told me he never remembered having a concubine. Pretty much every pharaoh in history had at least one."
Joey smirked. "Not even Mana~?"
Atem blushed. "Y-you know her?!"
"Is there any way Atem's memory isn't complete?" I finished.
Ishizu nodded. "But please, go. It will the Sabbath next sunrise. I'd hate to keep you in this world longer than I have to."
I entered the key and took Atem with me back through the Gate. If we're going to complete his memory, we need a plan.
