The next day, we were already back on the streets, ready to Duel! But it started to rain early that afternoon, yet it was no ordinary rainstorm. The clouds began to resemble Dark Sanctuary, the monitors flickered, and...

"Hahaha... Seems you're having lots of fun, 'Pharaoh'... I don't care about Duels, but I want you where I can keep my eye on you. I'll play with you... In my game!"

Bakura!

"Well then, I wonder how many can defeat my Destiny Board... I'm looking forward to finding out, and handing you over to the Egyptian gods! Mwahahaha!!"

From my right, I heard Atem scowl. "I don't know what he wants with me, but I'll defeat him just as I did before." he said.

"Well then, let's get to it and get those ten-sided dice!" I cheered.

Atem nodded, and the three of us promised to meet back up at the mansion at the end of the day. Wherever I was going, my new older brother wasn't far behind.

Atem's POV

I gathered as many dice as I needed and proceeded to the Gate to challenge Bakura. "Hey." he greeted. "Are you enjoying my game, 'Pharaoh'?"

"Bakura... What are you planning! You wouldn't DARE side with Ra!" Or at least, that's what I thought...

"Oh, but I would. As long as it means I have your Millennium Puzzle, I'll work for whoever is willing to help me." Of course, it's always the Puzzle!

"And it just so happens that Osiris promised me the Puzzle if I returned to him his son."

What did he just-- How dare he compare-- No, if I've learned anything from Lillyan in the little time I've known her, it's this. Taking offense is a sign of weakness. The more easily a person is offended, the weaker that person is. "..... Then I will show you the spirit of the NEW Nameless Pharaoh! Pharaoh Atem!"

He gave me that stupid devious smirk. "Hahaha... I'm looking forward to it! Now bring it on! This is my game! As the game master, I'll make sure you enjoy your final moments 'born again'. Hahahahaha!!"

The battlefield appeared before us. "I have you right where I want you!" Bakura called out, and Dark Necrofear was transferred strait from his deck to his Graveyard! That's not allowed, even by Battle City rules.

"Your evil comes to an end, Bakura!"

"Every game has an end, it's just a question of who the victor will be. And who's life will be returned to whence it was before!"

"Duel!"

Bakura began by summoning Lady of Faith. When my turn began, Destiny Board appeared on his side of the field.

"My turn, I draw! I'm counting on you." I said, summoning forth Feral Imp, which destroyed Lady of Faith.

Bakura summoned another Lady of Faith, despite Feral Imp's Attack Points being higher than hers. Then Spirit Message "I" appeared on the field.

I set Raging Eria and destroyed his second Lady of Faith.

This time, Bakura summoned a weaker monster and had it attack Raging Eria. A costly mistake. But it's his Spirit Message "N" that worries me.

"I draw!" I didn't bother summoning another monster, I just kept attacking with Feral Imp. Hm, what is he planning? "My turn is done."

His monsters are weak, but Dark Necrofear is still in his Graveyard. What do I do? Spirit Message "A" is now on the field. Maybe he's stalling. This is bad... If I don't do something soon, there's no way I can win!

Only one way to be sure of that. "Come forth, Be'be' Drago'n!" Attacking with Feral Imp and Baby Dragon, my turn ends. "That's the end... of my turn..."

Again, Bakura summons another weaker monster. And ends his turn... Spirit Message "L" is played, and the victory is his.

"I may have lost, but I have no regrets. For it was a fantastic Duel."

"Hahaha... I hear the Shadow Realm's lovely this time of year. You're about to find out if it's true, once I've handed you over to Osiris!"

Aaaand then I got tazed. IN THE NECK!
