Lillyan's POV
"And in three... two... one..." I stood atop the balcony watching the horseback chase taking place beneath me, counting to the exact moment that Slifer would be summoned. It was too close to call. I said "one" when Slifer appeared, but the pentagram appeared on "two". Did it count?
My thinking was cut short by a voice calling my name. "Lillyan!"
I whipped around in shock. "How did you?!--" I sighed in relief. "Oh, Rose, it's just you. I thought you were one of the guards. But, where were you this whole time?! Do you realize what he could have done to me?!"
"That's not important!" Rose blurted. "Yami Marik's back!"
"What?!"
"Yeah, Joey ran into a Rare Hunter while he was on patrol. Ishizu sent me to get you."
I took my necklace from Rose and hung it around my neck. "Well, what are we waiting for?" I spoke. "We've gotta get the Pharaoh."
Rose teleported us to the cliffside that Atem would be hanging off of. I put a knife to Bakura's neck so he had a reason to give us the Puzzle and Rose lifted Atem to safety. She then teleported us out of the RPG, where our next opponent was waiting for us.
"Hahaha! Welcome, I am the second of Ra's Rare Hunters, Arkana! Also known as the Dark Magician's one true master!"
"You're a fool, Arkana!" I shouted. "When the Pharaoh's faith revived him, the Dark Magician betrayed Ra just the same! I'll prove it!"
"Perfect, Master Marik gave me orders to entertain you. For this occasion, I've prepared the perfect show for you. A show of nightmares!"
"Master Marik?" Atem asked.
"Did you not hear anything he just said?!" Rose began to panic. "Yami Marik and his Rare Hunters are back! And what's worse, they're working for the Winged Dragon of Ra!"
Atem looked dumbfounded. Best to use the Pendant to communicate. "Yami Yugi, find Yami Marik and dispose of him."
"Right." And with that, he was off, chasing down an old enemy like a bloodhound.
"Arkana, you will never be the master of the Dark Magician if you show it such a high level of disrespect. And as the star of my show, there is NO ESCAPE! Because the grand finale will show you how it feels to be outcast for your beliefs!"
