This is an alternative world. It is different to your universe. However, we are parallel in some aspects like similar geography.

It's present day while knights and supervillains still exist. Everyone has a nemesis and a pet/sidekick/minion. We still battle in full armour and use the traditional weapons. We find it cheating when we use guns even if we are evil. But when it comes to desperate times, we resort to the necessary terms.

Our earth is larger than yours. Our world is more complex. Our homes are in constant danger.

The background is similar to the young adult graphic novel by Noelle Stevenson "Nimona"
