Kris’s POV

Weekend has finally come to our door step. Leah was sitting on the couch watching TV while I heated some coffee. Lately I’ve been addicted to coffee, so has Leah, but I didn’t mind the comfort. Two girls having a good Saturday morning so far, suddenly we hear rumbling footsteps coming down stairs. We both glared at him while he dries his hair with a towel, searching through the cabinets, shirtless as ever.

“What? I’m hungry” Seth shrugs off the feeling. Making a sandwich for himself. “Gross…how can you guy’s drink coffee?” He waves the smell away

“How are you still up early?” I said with a smirk

“pfsh…that’s because your down here, Kris. I’m not like the rest who sleeps in” he smiles

I rolled my eyes playfully, drinking a sip of my coffee and watching TV again. Seth sat in between Leah and I. Leah raised her eye brows as in “really Seth?” She moves to the side a little while I try to move…but I realized I was already at the end of my side.

“So Kris, what are you doing afterwards?” Seth said

“Shhhh…” Leah said to him

“So?...” Seth tries to whisper through my eye as I giggled. Funny how Leah can still hear him whisper.

“Seth if you’re not going to watch go away.” She said to Seth

He shook his head playfully “Alright..alright..jezz” as he got off the couch I finally replied back. “I’m thinking going into the woods again.” I smiled

“What for?” Leah said

“hmm…not sure. I like the woods here.” I said

“Well I’m coming with you. Those leaches are back.” She replied while continuing to watch her show.

“Ya! Me too.” Seth said with a grin. “I’ll get ready!” He runs back upstairs again.

I got up washing my cup. I headed outside to the front porch, feeling the breeze run through my spine, while taken a deep breath. My wolf within me wanted to see him again but knowing about Leah, she will never approve of our behavior.

Seth finally comes up behind me with Leah.

“I told Jake where we’re heading” she said

With a surprise, I see Jake running from the distance towards us.

“Looks like his coming after all” Seth chuckles

We finally came to the deep forest where we stood between La Push and Forks. I watched the water deeply as the guys decided to turn back.

“Hey? Let’s play a game?” I said

“In …our …wolf forms?” Seth said questionably

“Ya” I turned around quickly “Why not?” I smiled

Jake looked at Leah, she looks back at them knowing they are reading minds again.

She smirks “Ya, why not?”

“Race you!” I started running back deep into the forest. My blood rushing through my vein’s, slowly in second’s my bones form completely into my wolf structure as I hopped over a log. Looking back, I see Leah, Jake and Seth in their wolf form catching up.

Quickly, Leah was catching up. I never realize how incredibly fast she was. She barks with laughter surpassing me while dodging trees.

I barked with laughter as well. With my surprise, Jake was by my side. Leah seemed small compare to my wolf form. However I felt normal to my size next to Jake.

I always wondered why.

Compared to the other wolves in La push, only the size I have with is Jake and Sam.

I’m very quick getting through to small things unlike Jake and Sam, but Leah was much quicker on her feet and getting through smaller passage ways.

Jake and I completely stopped when we couldn’t go any further, finally Seth jumped over us and went through without a scratch. We all stood in shocked while he laughed, catching up with Leah.

We looked around to fine any way out, I wanted to catch up with them. Jake wanted to head back, but that will take forever. I sign... “Wait I have an idea” I thought to myself.

I squeezed my head into these two trees, trying to get my other arm in, being a two legged in my wolf form. I barked with laughter. Realizing I was stuck.

Jake looked at me and shook his head. He looked around for any solution. He could only see my

tail wagging from the side since he couldn’t see my head from the long trees, which were in the way. Knowing I couldn’t read his mind when he stared... He slowly slides his head under my tommy between the trees, from my reaction I moved to the side. “Cold nose!” He looked at me oddly. I can tell from his eyes this was the only way out. If he pushes me up, perhaps there is a chance to slip my head out since the trees above come apart.

I nodded, telling him it’s okay to go.

He tries again as I push myself up, slowly it was working. I can feel my body moving out of the tree, I left my leg, trying to kick myself out but…quickly I lost my balance and Jake wasn’t holding me anymore. Squeezing back down with a force, my wolf within let out a loud yip, echoing through the forest.

The trees between me were griping my ribs tight. Whimpering as Jake tried to hold me steady.

Hearing Leah and Seth rush through the forest after my calling pain.

I felt a cold hand gently pushing me out of the trees as he stood there. I fell back to my human form. Completely looking back up, he was here. He climbed back down swiftly and gently to the ground staring at me.

“Are you hurt anywhere?” Edward said while getting down in one knee to look for any signs of burse.

I stared at him speechless… Covering my breast with my hands while looking down, hoping my hair would cover the rest.

Leah was already behind Edward, growling at him. Snapping at Seth to look away, even Jake was looking away but was standing right next to me. He only looked at Edward, face to face without daring to look at me. Only Leah had the right to look.

We all stood in silence. Leah was making sure Jake or Seth wouldn’t look. But she hated the fact Edward was looking. She snapped at him and he got the hint, looking down as he stood up.

When Edward stood across from us, I stood behind Leah making sure no one would see me completely. Standing naked in the woods wasn’t my intention. I’m assuming Jake told Seth and Leah what happened in the woods. Edward only came to rescue me.

I’m really glad Jake didn’t form back into his human self, while I was stuck. I didn’t want him to see me. It would have been a great if Leah was there. That was another thing I was grateful to Jake. He was always nice to me and even without reading each other minds, he can still read me. I smiled at him while being covered with Leah. Leah still didn’t take her eyes off of Edward.

Everyone can smell that his family was near, waiting for him on the other side. I’m guessing if something ever happened to him, they would be there. He looked at me and walked away.

“Thank-you!” I yelled back while watching him leave as I lay my head on Leah’s back, still standing.

He smiled and nodded.

“Please be careful next time.”
