Kris’s POV

After the meeting, Edward and I headed to the woods alone. Well, he sorta carried me out. The smell of Edward scent rushed through my nose, my arms wrapped around his cold shoulders, and the thought of losing one another will never happened. His part of my world and I’m part of his.

“I’m not going let them take you away” Edward said glancing through the deep misty forrest as if he knew what I was thinking.

I looked up at his gaze. He seemed more serious and stern. I gently touched his cheek to look directly into my eyes.

“I’m happy that I met you… but...I can never bear the thought of losing you. If they let you live because of me, then that’s a good thing.” I whispered to him enough where Leah and the others couldn’t hear.

“No…how can you say that? I have no soul..” he said as I stopped him in time with a passionate kiss.

“Yes you do. You do, Edward.” I touched his chest where his heart still lies. “This heart may never beat again, but it still a heart within you.”

“You rather lose your life than mine? I’m not going to let that happened. You’re part of my world, Kris” he laid me gently as nightfall began to rise.

The full moon shined once more upon him, glittering with the light as I listen to our surrounds. At first, this man was mostly about how much he wanted to kill me ― and, yet, how much he loved me. About three things I was absolutely positive. First, Edward was a vampire. Second, there was a part of him - and I didn't know how potent that part might be - that thirsted for what I was. And third, I was unconditionally and irrevocably in love with him.

“You're the most important thing to me now. The most important thing to me ever." Edward gazed down at me

Edward takes me hiking to a meadow, a place he considers the most beautiful around the dank forest of Forks. The meadow was small, perfectly round, and filled with wildflowers - violet, yellow, and soft white. Somewhere nearby, I would hear the bubbling music of a stream. Beneath the full moon he exposed himself to me, what sunlight does to his body or the bright full moon does to his body. He was like marble - very pale, ice cold, and sparkles. The sight of Edward's sparkling skin dazzles me immensely.

“When I first met you, I became frustrated with my inability to read your thoughts, becoming relentlessly overwhelming desire for the creature you truly are and I eventual discovery the love I have for you. After I saved you from the water of the horrible accident fight with Leah, I witnesses Alice's vision of you, two potential futures: your ultimate fate caused by my lack of self-control, or Kris mortal life. After that, I tried hard to stay away from you to avoid both futures, but I found it harder and harder to be away from you as time passes.” Edward said as he lay down next to me yet still keeping his distance

“On one night, I snuck into your land, while you slept and I overhear you calling my name in your sleep: I realize how deep my feelings for you had become. Before, Jacob interrupted my concentration after he discovered unfamiliar scent, the other wolf not mine. After that, I gave in my feelings and tried to get closer to you. Rosalie comments that I’ve gone crazy because of you, while most of the rest are happy to know that I found love in my life, except Rosalie who is jealous of you for being able to attract me in a way that she could not, despite her superior beauty. I’m also constantly conflicted with my desire to be with you and my protective drive that makes me wants to keep my distance for your safety.” he said

…I was soothed by the stress of his embrace, and remained quite still, relaxed against him, mingling in to him. And he let himself go from past and future, was reduced to the moment with me. In which he took me and there was nothing beyond, we were together in an elemental embrace beyond our superficial foreignness.

He traces his fingertips around my waist as he pushes me against him. I could feel the terrible effort of his restraint …Then he groaned and gave up.

But I wasn’t willing to let that happened, my legs were raised and clutched about his waist. We kissed deeply beneath the full moon; I can sense the heat rising between us.

“Stop trying to take your clothes off.” He said

I pulled away…

“Not tonight.” He said as I sat up fixing my shirt.

“Is it bad that I want to mate with you or are you worried about Derek’s pack?” I looked away in frustration

He growled beneath his teeth hearing Derek’s name.

“I'm from a different era. Things were a lot less complicated.”

“What do you mean, exactly?” I looked confused

He sign “I would love to be…but I don’t have much experience”

“Well at least we have some things in common.” I turned around and smiled.

“Makes me extremely happy… that no man or wolf has ever…” he stopped himself when we heard something running towards us

Edward stood up and stern as I held his shoulders from behind. I couldn’t believe my eyes.

“Derek?” I said as he stood tall and big in his wolf form. He looked at me…and then at Edward.

“Oh no…” I whispered
