I just want to undress your deep thoughts•

"Alfieeee!" Jenna yelled and ran to hug Zach's dad, Alfred Wood.

Alfred was a charming, middle aged man, who had warm brown eyes like Zach's and a really amiable smile. He was really popular among the women in this town because of his good looks and his appealing personality.

"Jenna darling! How are you?" Alfie, a nickname given by us, asked her as he patted her back.

"I'm good. Was your business trip okay? You hadn't been home for months." She asked; pulling away from the hug.

Alfie smiled. "Yes it was fine. We had to travel all around America for this deal. It was huge. Anyways, how have you kids been?" He asked, looking at each of us.

"We're fine and active as always." Jenna answered and looked at me with a mischievious smile. "El, why don't you go help Zach with the drinks? He may need a hand."

I glared at her, understanding what she was trying to do.

Alfie looked at me and smiled. "Yeah you should. He can be quite clumsy at times." He said, making everyone laugh.

"I heard that." Zach yelled from the kitchen making all of us double in on our laughter.

"Why can't you go?" I narrowed ny eyes at Brett.

He quickly laid down on the couch. "Football practice made me tired." He answered, groaning dramatically.

"You don't even play football." Chance slapped his head lightly and sat down next to him.

"Dude, don't blow my cover. I hate to bring the drinks." Brett pouted, crossing his arms like the little kid he was.

"You only like to drink them." Kiara said next and sat down on Chance's lap, him wrapping his arms around her in an instant.

"So?" Brett queried like a spoilt brat.

I looked at Jenna. "What? I have to catch up with Alfie." She defended and continued chatting with him.

I sighed and stood up. "Fine. You guys are all lazy, spoilt brats anyway." I said before stalking off to the kitchen.

"So you were selected today." Zach chuckled as he saw me enter with a pouty face.

"They're lazy." I waved it off and took out 7 glasses. Gemma couldn't come because she had to tutor her new neighbour. Her mother had set it up for her and she couldn't say no.

"Is mango juice fine?" Zach asked, looking into the refrigerator.

"You know it is." I smiled as I rolled my eyes.

He grinned and poured mango juice on each of the glasses before pulling out snacks from the cabinet.

"What's that?" Zach asked, eyeing the book peeking out from my bag in the kitchen table.
