"Where are we going again?" I asked as I looked over at a grinning Gabriel."It's a surprise." He instead said like always.
I groaned in frustration. "Come on. It's been almost four years and you still do this." I pouted.
Gabriel laughed making my insides feel warm as always as he leaned in and pecked my lips.
"Yet you still love all my surprises." He smirked arrogantly. Lately he has been too arrogant. But yes, I did love all his surprises.
After we graduated high school, everyone went their separate ways. Jenna went to the local college, where Billy had been studying so they moved in together in a cute little apartment. We met during every Christmas holidays.
Gemma had moved to London to study astronomy. She always wanted to work for NASA and it was no doubt she would be selected because of her passion. Noah and she had broken up before she moved which was sad because she still loved him and he still loved her. I hope they meet again soon.
Kiara and Chance had gotten into the same college and their live has been strong as ever. I haven't seen them since they moved out of Maysville. We were in contact though so it feels good to know they're doing good.
Zach, well, after graduation he had a talk with Gabriel and after explaining what exactly happened, he was heartbroken and blamed himself a lot for not thinking it maturely. But Gabriel said it was alright and though it was awkward at first, they're almost back to how they were before. I was happy for them. Zach went to Australia for studying BSW which meant he had to go to different countries or states every once in a while. He still Skyped me when he got time and the fact that he still remembered me made me happy.
I had no idea where Maddison was though. After the picnic four years ago, we came to know she went back to New York. It was surprising for everyone.
Gabriel and I got to Yale as well. I took up a major in interior designing while Gabriel opted for medicals because it was his dream to become a doctor after what happened with his mother. I was so proud of him when he got accepted.
We talked to my dad about us and he agreed to let us move in together since we were both 18 and Gabriel's dad gifted us a cute little apartment as a graduation gift. We had been living together since then.
After our graduation, we had come back to Maysville to meet my parents and Gabriel's parents before we decided for the next step of our future. Right now, Gabriel had said he had a surprise for me so we were currently on our way towards the surprise. I wonder what the surprise was.
"Wait. Why are we going towards the cliff?" I asked, surprised,as I remembered the familiar road.
Gabriel just smiled. "You'll see."
I leaned back against the seat as nostalgia filled me. It had been so long since I came to the cliff with all of my friends. The young memories of us, the warmth I felt with each of them, the different bond I had with each of them. I missed them.
"Remind me to call everyone of them when we get home." I said to Gabriel. He just smiled and nodded, giving me time to reminicise the times I had spent with my friends.
"Okay. We're stopping here." Gabriel said, cutting the engine off and getting out of the car before coming to my side and opening the door for me.
"Is it another one of your picnic dates?" I slyly asked, desperate for fishing out what he was planning for the both of us.
He smirked. "Babe, you should know by now that I don't repeat the same date twice."
I pouted. That was true. Every surprise I got were all different. Never did I get the same surprise twice and maybe that was why I always looked forward to every one of his surprises. And boy, did I always get surprised. Gabriel sure knew how to make a girl fall in love even more.
