•He had beautiful eyes, the kind of eyes you could get lost in and I guess I did•
Do you know what is the most annoying thing in the world?
Having best friends that come over to your house on a freaking Saturday morning and waking you up by pushing you out of the bed causing you to land on your butt.
"What the fuck?" I shouted, untangling myself from the covers around me. Why didn't anyone let me sleep?
I heard a series of laughter and I rubbed my eyes to see that my idiotic group of friends had graced me with their presence. At 5 in the morning.
"What are you guys doing here?" I yelled. I wouldn't have yelled if I knew dad would be in his room downstairs but he was not home today because of a business meeting he had to attend in the next town.
"Get ready. We have to be at our spot!" Kiara excitedly said, her eyes turning animatedly wide.
"Now?" I asked in disbelief. It was way too early.
"Yes now!" Zach said, pulling me up. "We can't miss the sunrise after last night's rain. It's going to beautiful." He smiled and I found myself melting again.
Someone cleared their throat and I quickly averted my eyes away from Zach and turned to see Brett winking at me. I made a mental note to thank him later and entered the bathroom.
I looked like a mess.
Like literally.
My hair was sticking in all directions, bags were formed under my eyes and I had a trail of drool down to my chin.
Disgusting.
I grimaced and quickly washed my face, brushed my teeth and ran a comb down my hair before walking out of the bathroom. My room was empty and on the bed was laid an outfit.
Probably Zach. He loved picking out clothes for me. Said I had no fashion sense. Who would care about fashion at 5 in the morning? So stupid sometimes.
I put on the black hoodie and dark washed jeans pairing it all at last with my sports shoe. Huffing, I tucked my phone in the back pocket of my jean before walking downstairs where my friends were being too noisy.
"Why is it so noisy?" Lara asked as she came out of her room as well, which was adjacent to the kitchen.
"Goodmorning Lara!" My friends greeted and she looked like a deer caught in headlights.
She was frozen in shock for a while which made all of us laugh. My 16 year old sister finally yawned and gave us all the stink eye.
"What are you guys doing here so early in the morning?" She asked, taking out a carton of mango juice from the refrigerator.
"We're about to go to our spot." Gemma replied, popping a grape in her mouth.
Lara's eyes widened and she looked at me. "You guys are bat shit crazy! Who makes a cliff their spot? You will all die!"
I rolled my eyes. Lara had a fear of heights and she was always scared for us when we went to our spot which was, yes, a cliff overlooking the whole town.
