I woke up in a room with harsh white lights, my eyes trained on the slumped form of River laying on the floor next to my lowered bed. Andrew slept against the wall along with James. They all looked disheveled, their hair grown greasy and their faces scuffled with facial hair growing in.
How long was I asleep for?
Thunder cracked the sky above me before my wolf could answer, causing my eyes to widen and fall into the trance of the storm. My heart raced, as the sound of rain coursed through my veins and sent me into a high of sorts.
"Andrew," I whispered as my eyes shifted into milky white, magic taking over my body completely. He stirred against the wall, his head finally lifting up to look straight at me. He jumped up, his mouth opening to speak before he saw my white eyes.
"Alaska! Shit what do I do?!" Thunder cracked as I started walking out the door, not reacting to Andrews hushed calls. "Alaska! I swear to god I'll wake up River right now!"
I turned slowly, his eyes widening even more as my hair whipped around me. "There is no need to wake him, Alaska and her wolf are lying dormant now. The storm has taken control, stay safe. You may watch, but do not interrupt."
I turned and sprinted out the door, my hair whipping around faster and faster as the rain pelted my skin. I stuck my hands out palm up, shutting my eyes while I lifted my face to the dark sky. Lightening flashed and strikes the ground near me, screams being heard from the pack no more than twenty feet away.
"Alaska!" Andrews shouts broke through my ear, but all I could feel was the storm raging within my veins.
I ran deeper into the woods, coming out to the clearing right before a cliff. The ocean lay beneath it, waves crashing onto the shore as everything continued to rage. I grinned as I let my magic release, a wave of wind blowing in a circle around me through the trees.
I lift my hands out again and began spinning, the wind picking up as I grinned. Small tornadoes grew around me, knocking down trees in their paths of destruction and chaos. I let out a scream just as thunder rumbled again seemingly over the pack house, greeting me like an old friend.
I took in a deep breath.
The world stilled as I heard shouts from the pack house. Clouds broke and the storm paused for a moment, the sun coming out and warming my cold wet skin. I felt Andrew hammering in my brain as my high from the storm faded, leaving me feel euphoric.
I let it out.
Lightening cracked one more time, hitting my skin directly. I soaked up the electricity and felt it hum through my veins, my skin cracking and burning right under where it hit. It'll heal within an hour, but my skin was blistering and bubbling at the moment.
I opened my eyes that I wasn't even aware I had shut, to a pale wide eyed and wet Andrew. I gave him a smile, my body swaying as I took a step and said, "The storm wanted to come out and play."
I fell on the ground, my eyes fluttering shut as everything drained from me.

I woke up in the field I had cried in days earlier, my head cradled in Andrews lap. I looked up to find him asleep and snoring rather loud, the sun long gone and the moon out. I picked my head up, my eyes looking warily at my shoulder to find it healed.
"Andrew." I shook him lightly, his eyes snapping open to mine. "You okay?"
He chuckled before sitting straight up, rubbing his eyes. "Shouldn't I be asking you that?"
