Chapter 2

Viola's face brightened. "Really?" She looked at me in disbelief. I was a little confused and proud of myself. "Do you really think I'm that solemn? I do like to have a little bit of fun once in a while , you know." She giggled. "You usually just don't agree to do this kind of stuff." I smiled. "I guess I had a change of heart. What do you want to do?"

We did pretty much the only thing we could; we went to the Broken Shillelagh. We had a few drinks, and that's when Kinzie called, impatient. "Son of a...." I said as I answered the phone, drunk. Viola was giggling away in the background. "Shaundi, where the hell are you?! You've been out for four hours and I only sent you to collect three data clusters.. and all RIGHT NEXT TO EACH OTHER!!" I was giggling inbetween each word with Viola, "Heh.. Calm down Kinzie! Heheee!! We're just having fun instead of doing your stupid work."

We were really in for it now...

"You idiots!! The 'stupid work' that I sent you to do could save your freaking lives, so go out and do it or I'll come out there and beat you myself!"

So being the stupid carefree idiots we were, we decided to hang out there for a little bit longer, at least until we sobered up a bit. Luckily, Kinzie was just trying to intimidate us. We were so high that we wouldn't even be able to overpower a nerd like Kinzie. Now that was a bad feeling to have.

I think we were trying to piss off Kinzie even more, because I know if I were in her place, I probably would've killed us. We proceeded to go on a bike ride, and then a boat ride. I don't know how we managed to do this, because based on my memory, we rented both bikes and boats, and I imagine those would cost a lot of money for the amount of time we were out. And I'm pretty sure I only brought enough cash for drinks at the Broken Shillelagh. We probably stole the money.

We must have both passed out, because I woke up on a bench with an awful headache and Viola was underneath it. I woke her up slowly and gently. "Violaaa.. Violaaa! Oh! Careful, watch your head." Of course, she bumped it on the bottom of the bench anyways. I gave an exasperated sigh, but then laughed at the look on her face and the loud grunt she let out.

"Come on! I'm surprised we aren't dead already."
